Why Are There Hardly Any Deals around?

Why is there hardly any deals around? Especially given it's right after Boxing Day?

Normally there would be a lot of phone deals. We would be spoiled for choice. Now there is hardly anything and a lot of the expired deal requires you to have a phone to trade in.

Used cars cost a tonne and property prices. Well I won't even go there.

When will things return to normal?

Stores have pretty much abandoned the Boxing Day sales in exchange for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
Not much sense business wise to have 2 major sales in the space of 5 weeks then nothing for 5-6 months. Boxing day will pretty much be exclusively for what didn't sell 5 weeks earlier possibly slightly more reduced instead of a whole new sale.
If your saying/expecting Boxing day sales to be the biggest sale of the year as the return to normal, I'm going to say possibly never.

It is called supply chain problems. Multiple causes for it. No point or need to have a special, when the greatest challenge is having stock.

Besides the reasons listed above you're welcome to look around and try to find some to share too. Some of us like to have a break 😉

Take out a loan at the low interest rates. Suddenly everything is a deal, bud.

Because, past performance is not an indicator of future.

  • All the deals were zapped by Jewish space lasers.

    • It's a little unkind to blame lasers, don't you think? There are others emitters of energy too, you know.
