  • Is this better than pulsar brand?

    • +4

      Yes

    • I think so.

Two one day specials today at Starbuy, well done WatchNerd!!
I don't usually buy automatics (eco-drive guy normally) but had to grab one of these.

Got to love Starbuy’s review too “ Its the perfect dive watch for the desk diver” should suit me well!

    • Just want to point out that it isn't a true diver, only 100M water resistance.

      • Correct, hence Starbuys “desk diver” statement.

Nice watch. I love the exhibition back on this. Cheers WN!

    Thanks Ops. Ordered 1.

Awesome price and nice classic design. Can't go wrong with this one.

  • +3

Unbeatable price. Starbuy normally sells it for $299.

      Way overpriced there

  • Is the Calibre 8210 Hacking or Non-Hacking?

  • Thanks OP, didn’t think just bought. What a lovely looking watch!

  • Thanks buddy

Love this watch, thanks WN! Any recommodation on a quality light weight watch band? Silicone or resin one?

  • +2

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but damn you WatchNerd!!! Another one for the collection. I officially have a 'watch problem' now according to my wife.

  • Anyone know if an skx strap will fit snug?

    • Should depend on lug width of strap/bracelet?

  • Thanks! Bought two.

  • +1

    Tempting.

We need more deals on smaller watches!

    • I would have to agree on that.

  • +3

Argh….. Must resist buying more watches just because they're cheap!!……

    • +10

But this is a really good deal. I would go as far to say it's the best deal I've posted this year :)

      • I have small wrists, if this doesn't fit. Is there a return policy?

        • If you have small wrists, a 43mm watch is going to be a bit big, but its fairly thin compared to some Swiss autos…

      • +2

What a 2022 it has been! You should finish compiling your best of list.

      • +1

U got me @WatchNerd with this comment and the post. Tried to resist. Finally bought one. Too many watch deals and I agree this is one of the best ever.

    • +2

I have to keep reminding meself the same, and not just with watches!

      • +1

Quality over quantity; quality over quantity; quality over quantity; Quality over quantity; quality over quantity; quality over quantity…. Argh I'm keen on getting a white dialed diver, like maybe the white dialed king samurai, I will resist for now. As hard as it is!

What’s the expected resell value on this?

    • No chance in hell is this ever worth $550, that's Invicta crack they're smoking right there. But $129 is definitely fair. You would struggle to get more than that if you wanted to resell.

    • -1

This question always triggers some on OzBargain. You'd be lucky to get $50 on eBay.

      • -1

not true…good condition citizens go for around 2/3 of sale price
see many in the $100-150+ range

      • -1

$50? I might as well buy a good second hand one. Thanks!

        • for $50 youll end up with a 'mumbai special'…lol

          decent citizens hold their value

  • What have i done, the only watch i have ever used was a f91w… hope i can sell it for around $120 if its two big!

    • +2

if it's too big, you can just return for a full refund. as long as you keep the plastics and packaging intact.

      • Really? Do I just pay return postage?

        • i've never had to return something, but going by their returns policy, yes, you're just responsible for return shipping.

      • Great, thanks for letting me know 🙂

        • use paypal and its free to return

          • +1

@franco cozzo: if you use paypal, your refund will be minus whatever their paypal fees were. but yes, paypal will cover your cost to return.

Thanks op. I tried my max to resist, but succumbed to temptations and bought one.

    Resistance is futile

great looking watch - but at 50mm lug to lug according to the youtube vid its too big for me - lucky i suppose - otherwise i would be buying another watch…

  • I ordered this last night…. but 50mm lug to lug? I only have a 6.6 inch wrist… this may be too big for me.

    • Ok Glad i didnt buy this! Only a 6.3" wrist here.

  • +1

    Aaahh, missed it.

  • what a good looker & great price. so glad i missed this…ive got enough already

  • +2

Here just to say hi to WatchNerd 😁

  • Watch arrived today - great quality for $129,I'm impressed. I bent my tool trying to remove pins from the bracelet to size it though… they are bloody stubborn to remove! Got more tools on the way.

    • Sorry to ask but how do you re size it, i was thinking there was a tool with the watch 😆

      • +2

Use pin removal tools, if you search watch toolkit on Amazon, there are some on there for not much money.
