Hmm have never been a fan of wireless, incredibly slow Compared to the original/PD charger. Don't see how 10W qualifies for fast charging. Got a plate in my case for magnetic car holder so don't use them anyway I guess.

Wouldn't mind a phone stand with provision for USB C cable.

Agreed. It is really only for trickle charging while the phone is down. Think I played with it when it was Nexus 5 then Nexus 6 but moved away as batteries got bigger it wasn't worth the hassle. Just plug it in every night even on a 1A charger will be full charged in the morning.

      • Yes, doesn't charge it enough to bother.
Better for the battery health using the proper charger. Most phones charge to 60% in 15 min

        • Wireless is good as a bedside charger, good enough for overnight charge

          • @OZTechGuy: Yeah or if you're unplugging on/off often.
            I just got a 2m USB C cable

            • @G-rig: Ye, I have that too, large cable and then got the wireless charger with type c, can always unplug and use cable as needed

      incredibly slow

Fast wireless is actually pretty good these days. Obviously not as good as a cable, but for someone who's on and off their phone all day, being able to just pop it on a wireless charger to keep it topped up throughout the day is far better than plugging in all the time.

Yeah fair enough, think the old ones were 5w or the same as slow charging with a normal cable into the PC.

Pixel 5 is great lasts a day or two so not so much an issue these days
