    67% off (Was $227)

Looks like we have another price jacker…

Previous price was $159. It just got changed to $227.

    https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:E6f8Hp…

    • Not associated and not trying to argue with anyone but a genuine question.
Webcache confirms $159 was a sale price with original price being $227, so my understanding is, it is 67% off.

If the seller did not put the price back to $227, he would've promoted it as being further 52.89% off which will still bring it down to $74.91.

Seems like just a different way of presentation?

ACCC disagrees with you regarding misleading price comparisons…

        read up on it…

        https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/prices-surcharges-receipts…

        Misleading prices may include:
        • a ‘before’, ‘was’ or ‘strike through’ price that is not the price those items were sold for in a reasonable period immediately before the sale period started
        • a ‘before’, ‘was’ or ‘strike through’ price where only a limited proportion of sales were at the higher price in a reasonable period immediately before the sale period started
        • ‘savings’ or ‘discount’ statements when compared to the recommended retail price (RRP), but the goods have never been sold at the RRP or the RRP does not reflect a current market price.

Rep, how can you advertise a GST exclusive price to consumers?

When prices are advertised or promoted, products and services must clearly display a ‘single price’, which is the minimum total cost that is able to be calculated. This should include:

          • all taxes, duties and extra fees
          • the price of all aspects of the final product and service.

Negged for your very misleading price advertisements.

  • Rep - whats the weight rating on these "chairs". The lid looks wafer thin so predicting only for kids.

    • According to UBuy, one of the pictures has "300lbs" (~130kg). Though i wouldn't try it out.

  • Plus $16 delivery for each chair

Absolute BS at the price. I'm pretty sure it's the Onarvohome thing, which retails for US$60.99. On Amazon it's been as low as US$52.99.

    This is just misleading.

And sold at ubuy for AU$114. That price you listed is just misleading.

Lol, last three deals have got negative feedback and the rep hasn't responded once. Just keeps posting unpopular deals.

  • Make it 67 off the 67 percent

  • The price doesn't include GST:

    Subtotal $74.91
Shipping Shipping costs Calculated at next step
    Taxes (estimated) $7.49

Shipping to Sydney Metro comes up as $16. This too does NOT include GST. Total for an order would be $100 (exact) including GST.

    • Dodgy pricing practices - Google web cache above
    • looks like a product which is available for elsewhere for cheaper
    • Sellers deals resemble spam more than deals
  • So people think they can sell their s#it in ozbargain by marking prices as sale items

Op, advertised prices should include GST in Australia. According to ACCC:

Not including the GST component means that consumers only receive part of the price information. … Failing to make the total price to be paid clear in advertisements is likely to mislead consumers and breach the Trade Practices Act 1974.

  • Negging for ex-gst and all the other reasons above.
