Hey guys, I've been waiting on a deal on these. It's $185 on their website and their rep actually posted a deal on a different model a little while ago. Hope this helps anyone. Not sure of quality but going to give it a go.

If you're only spraying out 16 litres just get a hand pump model and save yourself $115.

This is just for lazy people.

    • It’s gone already anyway.

    • Yeah it doesn't take many pumps to get 16lt sprayed.

        Oh to be young again.

Having used both hand pump and battery, no way would I ever go back to hand pumped. First of all, not all of us have bodies that work as well as yours. Second, it's a tonne faster to have the battery and my time is worth more than $115.

I agree with that statement about personal fitness.
At times I also find myself along a slope or a spot without a firm base and it's just too hard to pump.
Where I live, it's also got to be done quickly as I have only a small window before winds pick up again.

      • You can carry 16kg but can pump a pump a few times?

    • Where can I find one like this but hand pumped for $7? Keen to know

      • My bad. Save yourself $100

    • For big jobs, I just use an old weed n feed spray pack. 1/8 fill with glyphosate, top with water (mix), connect a hose and spray away.
      Will do 400m2 in minutes..

Use a standard $10 pump pack from Mitre 10 for the fiddly stuff.

Wash yourself off as quick as you can after, seems to be more evidence surfacing re Glyphosate being carcinogenic.

I would get the Ozito one (https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-7-5l-garden-spraye…) instead. Yes it is smaller but it's cheaper, likely of higher quality, easier to return, and you can use the battery for other tools.

    • It's shit quality. But the easy returns make it worthwhile.

  • Clearly most comments above are for small gardens, but if you are doing a lot of spraying and want something very reliable then these are what you should get. Mine is around 8 years old and used all year except winter. Pumping is not an issue or bother for any level of fitness. Carrying it may be. Also, do not fill with bleach even though it says you can. I used chlorine once and it degraded the diaphragm very quickly.

  • I have a backyard of nearly 200sqm and have been using it to spray RoundUp with a Hills Industries hand pump sprayer. At the end of the job of nearly 3hours my arm is pretty sore and still! Eventually the sprayer packed up and invested in a battery model and I never regret it! It is the best tool for my garden, and the job is almost effortless! I paid $70 for a 16l one from eBay and after 4 years it is still going strong!

    • See my post above re using a 2L weed n feed hose on pack. If just open weeds 200m2 (20x10m) will take around 30 seconds.

If reoccurring weeds, ive been told adding diesel to the mix is a winner, but I've never tried it.

Are you trying to kill everything in the 200sqm?

    • Do you have a link of the sprayer you bought?
