+1. My order was stuck in ‘processing’ for a week. By the time I tried to just go in to the store, the discounts I’d been eligible for were expired. I had a really hard time on the phone getting them to honour the original discounts.
Definitely just go in to the store… though there’s always omicron…

You’ve been staying in Your house for the past 2 years?I've been staying in my house for YEARS before even Covid-19. I guess I'm what you'd call a reclusive hermit. A bit hard to do otherwise when you're body/health are no longer cooperating. And you find yourself with no local support system.
Add that to the fact that I have no actual desire to leave my house, and most people just don't understand. I order everything I need online and get it delivered.
And I had already stopped reading newspapers and watching TV ads MANY years ago, as I just didn't want to know what was going out there in what you would call "the real world" to be honest. It upset me far too much. So Covid pretty much passed by me in the "bliss of ignorance".
On the surface, Covid-19 has probably affected me much less than most people here and in the rest of the world. People have just had to learn the way I'd already been living pre-pandemic. The only thing Covid-19 took from me was my dream of living in the country! A couple of years it had been my dream to cash in on the appreciation my house/land had gone through over 15 years, downsize, and find a nice, small place to retire to in the country, surrounded by nature, in the hope that my health and mental state might improve.
I think you all know how that went, yeah? Just about every man and his dog got there before more, drastically pushing up the prices of affordable small town country properties.
