AMD Premium Nano-Tech Flatfold P2 Disposable Mask 50 Pack $97.90 + Delivery ($0 with $199 Metro Order) @ Werko Australia

114

Were looking for more AMD P2 masks as I bought this brand before and found them the most comfortable of P2 masks I have used, besides the fact that they are made in Australia. Other places seem to be either OOS or way overpriced for these AMD masks.
Delivery is $9.90 to metros, so work out to be $2.15 per mask.

The AMD Earloop P2 Masks are made here is Australia
The masks are extremely comfortable with the 3 fold design and easy to wear
The AMD P2 masks are used by many health professionals here in Australia and around the world
These P2 masks are equivalent to the NIOSH N95 standards

Werko had a bad rap with delayed RAT kits delivery and hard to contact customer support (online reviews). Hopefully the masks are more readily available.

    Misleading thumbnail.

    • I have no idea why OB grabbed some random unrelated image from an actual product link…

      • -1

        Australia Day hackers…

    • Yep, these masks look nothing like the thumbnail image

About the only AMD product you can get these days

This is probably a joke about computers but the processors are plentiful now. GPUs on the other hand…

Yes, this joke is 6 months too late… but I had to try

          My Intel says the same.

I would be careful with Werko. I've made two orders recently, attempted to cancel the first one but it has been impossible to get in contact with them. Phone calls go to automated message, emails are unreplied. Live chat simply says to send an email to cancel but it has been quite a few days with no confirmation.

Ended up doing a credit card chargeback so they will actually respond. Will do charge back for the second order too if they don't end up sending it…

    • I have not had any experience wth attempted cancelations, but I have placed 3x large orders for these masks in the last 3 months and they have always been fulfilled promptly. Maybe your cancel attempt fell through the cracks?

Most companies that sell covid related gear (masks, RAT tests, hand sanitiser) have been snowed under by orders and just cannot stay on top of things = customer service falls down.

      • +2

Understandable that things are busy, but for the live chat person to just say 'send an email' rather than deal with the problem (and then no response whatsoever) is pretty bad. They are holding onto hundreds of dollars of money.

        • +2

agreed. live chat should have looked up the order number on the spot and cancelled it. dodgy af.

    • I was in the exact same boat with an order cancellation, it took a while but they did get back to me and canceled the order with full refund no questions asked.

  • Nano tech?

  • I ordered exactly this about 1.5 weeks ago. Only today it was picked up from the seller.

    • +1

Oh crap! I was about to order but if that's the way things are atm I think I'll wait till I can find them somewhere close.
They are great masks, I bought 5 from a local pharmacy (the only place I could find them at the time) after I saw them on the Olympic team and them a friend got some and said they are way more comfortable and easy to breathe through compared to many other respirators. I think I paid $4 each which I only did to test them out and see if it was worth buying a bigger lot online.
Great masks and they last a few days in my experience.

  • Mask so old school now we need rats

    • Its like how they're selling brand new 20 series cards since 30 series are OOS, and how Sony are making PS4's because PS5 shortage…

  • Multithread?

  • +3

Avoid Werko they take your order and don’t supply. No response to emails.

    • As I posted above,I have placed 3x large orders for these masks in the last 3 months from Worko and they have always been fulfilled promptly.

Most companies that sell covid related gear (masks, RAT tests, hand sanitiser) have been snowed under by orders and just cannot stay on top of things = customer service falls down.

Like every other business, they probably have staff off with COVID, but they would be coping with 100x regular years order quantities.

  • I prefer Intel Disposable Masks

  • Me too.

Waiting for masks - these are cheaper than the ones that I bought. I have a "tracking" number but it was shipped by "Other" so I have no idea who to go to to track it (it's not Australia Post - it's an MS number).

This was a couple of weeks ago.

I also think it's the height of selfishness to complain about a delayed Covid order to WA so I've just left it run, but I am moving house soon so it might just never arrive.

    • So I got curious and did get a quick reply, they are using Aramex (ex-"Fast"way which is always slow for me) but the tracking number still doesn't work.

      • Tracking finally switched on to picked up today. I have since moved though so the next bit of fun happens on delivery in two weeks.

  • I ordered some a week ago and and they still haven't dispatched, so I suspect they're a bit over busy. Best price I could find for them at the time though - so happy to wait a little while. Hopefully they dispatch soon…

  • Note: Earloops, whilst more convenient, do not provide the same level of protection as head straps. The mask will not achieve the range level of fit against your face.

    • They have the head strap version too, listed as in stock… costs more.

      https://www.werko.com.au/product/amd-p2-n95-nano-tech-respir…

    • Have you tried these ones specially? I agree that ear loop masks generally have a poorer fit, but these sit VERY snug to your face. They are nothing like the crappy cheap ear loop ones you see everywhere (that look like they do almost nothing).

    • Mask ear savers would probably do the job if you wanted a tighter fit from over ear loop style masks.

  • Would these heat up

  • -2

These are junk. They are expensive and don't seal well around the nose, so will never meet the P2/N95 filtration standards in practise.

    • +8

Damn I hate when people spout uninformed crap online without taking 5 seconds to check if what they are saying is true. 90% of the masks you see around the place do not seal well and do not work well, but these are Australian made, work really well, are comfortable and have all of their certifications clearly displayed on their website - https://amdmed.com.au/certifications/

Note: I am not in any way related to any of these businesses. I have bought these masks for my staff because I spent the time and effort finding the best masks for their protection.

    • +3

No issues with the seal when I wear them. The most basic test is do your glasses fog, no fog with these. I can't feel any breeze (leakage) around the edges. Breathing in the edge seal seems perfect.

  • Hey guys, do not buy from Werko.

Please check out their facebook page first. https://www.facebook.com/werko.au/reviews/?ref=page_internal

They seem to have all kinds of masks in stock (where others don't) and at a much lower price compare to other retailers.

    • +1

Thanks! Looks like they take your money first, then make you wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait…

  • I placed an order about a week ago because the website says in stock but is not !!!!

  • +1

On their website, if you go to Shipping & Delivery section at the bottom, the Delivery Information paragraph says "All in stock items will be dispatched same day for orders placed before 1pm.".

This seem to be not true especially when you read the comments on OzB and all the other customer reviews.

  • +1

Just going through checkout and it is adding a $9 fee even though my order is over $199. Anyone else?

Nevermind. It looks like it's $199 excl GST for free shipping.

  • +3

I bought these same masks from respiratormasks.com.au (https://respiratormasks.com.au/products/nano-tech-particulat…). They are currently out of stock but I paid $99 with free shipping and they arrived within 2 days.

I have really struggled to find a comfortable mask and this has been by far the most comfortable and well sealing mask I have tried. Definitely recommend these masks.

  • Sorry others have had this experience, but it supports decision I made a few days ago. I was going to buy these as seemingly price competitive, but when just told "we're expecting stock next week" I decided to go elsewhere.

  • +1

I ordered "in stock" AMD P2 masks from Werko on the 14th of Jan. They are yet to be shipped. Emailed them yesterday to ask what the ETA is, no response 24hr+ later.

If you want these in a hurry I would not order from Werko.

  • I placed an order for these on 12/1 and still waiting for dispatch, with no further updates.

  • I received my order today. Yay.

    I ordered a box of 50, but a bag of 25 arrived. Sigh…

Sent an email, not liking my chances of this getting resolved easily. :(

    • When did you place the original order?

      • 11th Jan

    • When did you place your order?

  • +2

I will avoid this… Order placed on 7th Jan, there is no sign of it. Chased customer service (email is the only channel), crappy response with no ETA. Ordered purely thinking its Aussie business and they should be helped during pandemic but sadly disappointing so far..

  • Curious if anyone has received their order (or even an order update) since this was posted? The company is copping a (seemingly deserved) beating on Google reviews.
All I've received is a general update on RATs which I didn't order.

    • +1

order for masks (no RATs) placed on 12/1, zero updates since.

      • Seems they are processing refunds quickly.

Emailed [email protected] on Sunday 6/2 @ 17.40 requesting order to be cancelled and refunded.
Received email Monday 7/2 @ 09.14 confirming refund has been processed.

    • I'm moving soon and emailed for an update, no response. Might just chargeback.

      • After reading through the latest Google reviews and Facebook comments I think that might be wise.

  • +1

Price is now $106.70 (incl GST). Listing says please allow a few extra days for shipment due to demand.

    • +2

Just advised on chat that they have them in stock but they have absolutely no idea when individual orders will be sent. Wouldn't give any time frame at all. They really need to stop taking new orders so that they can catch up.

  • Is there a more reliable online business where i can buy the AMD masks from?

    • Of course there is. Try Rushfaster.

I brought from them before, and I am now waiting for my order on the AMD masks.

  • Well, I should have listened to the other comments before ordering. No response by email or live chat. I'm just documenting now for a chargeback.

    • I emailed them at "cancellation <AT> werko.com.au" with my order number and it took them 3-4 days but they refunded me.

  • Anybody get? Its been 26 days now since ordering, no replies or updates other than the stock "shipping may take up to 14 days" message and it's well beyond that. Obvious they did not have stock at the time of ordering. Will request a refund tomorrow.

    • +1

Refund was processed within 24 hours, it’s the only time they have responded to an enquiry during the whole process.

  • Mine is onboard for delivery today by Aramex. It is a loooong wait… better than never.

  • I ordered some n95 masks on 19/1 but still no update on ETA. Still shows "processing" on website.

    • I ordered around that time. Received part of order (goggles, gloves but no masks).
Noticed they had replied to a few people on LinkedIn so commented about their poor business practices and someone from Werko sent me a message straight away. Received my masks within a few days.
Might be worth a shot if you are having no luck getting a response from them.
