Not sure its its 5000k or 4000k but last deal from 1lumen reviewer said its 5000k so idk.

Their other flashlights are also back on sale but much worse price compared to their website.

  • How is this vs the BLF Q8? It seems pretty similar

    • +2

Have just watched a comparison video here and it seems the Q8 is better, imo. Check it out for yourself.

      4 x 18650 vs 3x 18650
not as much colour temp choice
      barely not as bright
      bit more throw
      Cree XPL vs Samsung LH351D
lower cri? im not too into flashlights and cant find much info but i think its 70cri? vs 90 cri

      • According to Opple, my BLF Q8 is 4650CCT & 69 CRI. Q8 is bigger and runs NarsilM, SP36 Anduril and the most recent batch has Anduril2 but doubt this Amazon stock is the latest batch.

BLF Q8 was revolutionary quality and output at the time, 6 years ago! I take it out for a walk now and then with the dog. Otherwise it's in my little display cupboard. SP36 on the other hand, I have four sitting around the house though one of them is the older NarsilM version with XPL2.

I've got both. This uses one less 18650 so is smaller diameter. I like this one better.

      its more than that

    • Yea but its not high CRI but you can get the SST-40 is a 5000k tint.

    • +1

      Way lower cri

    • Depending on your use case, CRI has little effect on nightly use. More lumens!!!
I have enough torches or i'd pick this one up too. Careful it can be addictive.
