Best Prepaid Plan (Value for Money) in Australia

Hi OzBargain. I'm a Kogan Mobile customer, and my annual plan (365 days Plan $270) will expire in less than 2 weeks. Like every year I'm doing my research in finding the best value for money plan, and I always end up with Kogan (25Gb per month for $22,50). I don't believe there's anything cheaper than this, but now I'm getting upset because they don't support 5G. Anyone have any opinion or have you guys have a forum about this subject? Thanks

If you're after 5G and more data than 25GB then Spintel has 80GB for $40 on Optus 5G.

I think the JB Hifi Telstra postpaid offer with $500 gift card is comparable and ends up cheaper per month, but it's not prepaid, only comes around every so often, and you will have to find a way to spend/sell the gift card if you don't already have something in mind.

I'm not aware of any cheaper 5G prepaid, though. For another option, Aussie Broadband does $45 for 20GB

Wlecome newbie. use the search OZ bargain facility and/or lookup the current Woolies & Coles catalog for specials or use google to see what is available.

  • What is the absolute cheapest if you mainly want free phone calls and don't care about data? I remember dodo had a plan with unlimited calls and 3GB a month of data for $5.

    • Currently 2GB, and it's only $5/mo for the first two months, then goes up to $10/mo.

Costco might still sell Vodafone 12-Month 240GB Prepaid pack at either $199.99 or $169.99.

    Or this one: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/vodafone-2…

  • Found Vodafone with 5G for 6 months for $88,00
