    if you have a gold credit card (well nab do it, not sure about others) it gives you an extra 1 year warranty.

    ? tv operates on a 60hz frequency
    thats the difference between a pc monitor and a television

      The TV is supposed to run at 600hz (refresh rate) why would hdmi to PC dictate a lower refresh rate, to my knowledge refresh rates can be forced but it simply states the maximum is 60hz on display properties/CCC.

        The marketing of tvs has gotten little misleading in that they are not really 600hz
        they are still only 60hz for tv transmission and 24-27hz for film

        the 600hz is nine fake frames per frame in 60hz video to try and hide the blur between frames
        you cant actually request the tv to generate 600 frames per second for 100% of the display size

  I got one from the same deal a couple of months ago, and even though it said it was an online only special my local stores had it the same price so I just walked in and picked it up. Worth checking for anyone still looking.
