  Most of these non official adapter only works when you use the original switch power charger adapter (precisely at 39W, no more no less)

    The small part fits in my travel case with HDMI cable, USB-C cable, power adaptor and I don't take the dock. The USB-C extension cable it comes with its a must though.

  A couple of the reviews also advise that they had issues with the switch and either not working or disconnection issues. Looks like a generic USB C hub with a switch case.

  Unless your going something like a brook dock who will repair or replace your switch if it bricks when using it I'd avoid this.

  I use the same usb c dongle as for my laptop and works fine, but as ctan7 pointed out, the power adapter has to be the original one, I couldn't get it to work with any other.

  Have only used with the original switch (lite?) charger, but works fine to get the switch on the second tv. Even the 8bitdo usb adapter with dualshock4 worked fine

  I recently purchased the blue version of this dock and can confirm that it works, but only with an original Switch power adapter, because that adapter has a 15V-2.6A mode which is non-standard for USB chargers. So if you want to use this as an alternative switch location dock, be prepared to buy another charger.

    I have the Aten dock and bought an extra switch power adaptor.
    They can be had for under $40 and sometimes under $30 from Nintendo au online store or bigw and bigw eBay.
