Not a WPI deal this time (protein is also getting in short supply!)

With about a third of our team in isolation, we have been frantically trying to get our hands on Rapid Antigen Tests. I have spent the last few weeks talking to practically every wholesaler in Australia to obtain some tests. I have even been jumping onto Ozbargain deals to try to get tests for our team (and also for personal use) with limited luck.

We got very lucky and managed to secure some stock for our business purposes from a wholesaler in Australia. There were however minimum order quantities required, so we took the plunge and we have a relatively small quantity available for resale.

      I took a look at the system and everything in your other order is in stock and should be packed on Thursday (due to the public holiday tomorrow). These rapid tests from this deal will be sent out separately because we're going to pack them all in one go to increase our efficiencies (necessary since we are so short-staffed at the moment).     Decent price. I'm sure they will be selling these at giveaway away prices like hand sanitiser soon enough but unfortunately I need some sooner rather than later.

    Normally I don't like preorder deals (been burned before) but will take a chance based on this sellers good reputation here on OzBargain. Someone also linked their hand sanitiser deal from earlier in the pandemic which was reasonably priced as well, unlike a lot of other sellers at the time. Don't disappoint me please lol.

      Toilet paper 2020. So far I have only gone through 3x 24 packs, buying as I go. I have no idea how people who bought trolleys full are coping. But then prices have gone up by 19%, $7.99 not $9.50 at Aldi. Someone who can do the math can figure out given the inflation how long they will make their money back.

      At this stage, besides the deals published on the website we are unlikely to be doing anything on WPI any time soon. The main reason is due to major supply chain issues. We are currently low on stock and simply cannot source the materials to produce the volumes necessary.

      We'll aim to run more deals when we can, but I just don't know how far into the future this will be I'm afraid.

      Thanks for asking Jr64. We are working on new flavours. Flavours can be very challenging to roll out so it can take some time to release. This is especially true with things like pre workouts that have a potent flavour from the key ingredients. There is a lot of trial and error involved.

      We have recently expanded the range to 5 flavours (originally it was just the cola) and will be aiming for new flavours, but unfortunately don't have any definite ETA's on release dates I'm afraid.

      With all the supply chain challenges we (and everyone else) is facing, we don't have any concrete plans for the next WPI deal. Our biggest challenge is in actually finding the raw materials to be able to produce the volumes necessary. WPI is in extremely short supply world wide presently (and cost prices have subsequently gone through the roof).

      I unfortunately have no ETA on when we can expect another WPI deal. We do however have various deals available on our website keeping the price relatively sharp.

      I'll make an update in the main post, but we now have a portion of our stock and several orders will be shipped off today. The wholesaler has advised that the remaining stock is still being cleared by customs. From this first lot, we expect to have the vast majority of orders shipped well ahead of schedule.
