Another Story about BPCTech

TLDR Ordered A MSI Mech 6600XT OC around October. Showed as in stock, they cancelled my order stating that I emailed them. Which I did not.

I ordered a 6600XT from BPCTech which showed that it was in stock around October for $609. 3 days later, I called them wondering what was going on with my order. They said they actually didn't have stock. I didn't mind waiting, so I just let the order sit there, fast forward to around November/December. I email them stating that it shows in stock on their website but for $839. They then quickly change my order to a Non OC model, to avoid selling it to me for $609. Now around the 15th on January. They cancelled it saying that i requested it. (I didn't)

Will definitely avoid this seller for gpu's and other parts in the future.

Leave a google review. That is more damaging to them than posting here imo.

BPC stock levels are far from accurate in my experience.

Ordered an EVGA PSU “in stock”. It wasn’t. Finally got notification it was ready to collect after a few weeks.

It had the wrong cables in the box, manufacture fault no BPC fault… . Still showing as in stock on their website so I RMA and asked for a replacement but they told me none in stock to replace it despite their website showing as in stock still. Ended up with a refund.

I hate pc retailers with inaccurate stock listings.

  • This is why I go with Dell. I didn't like Dell but I didnt have the time to wait for 3080 so had to go this way. Back then 3080 was scarce.

Damn, I thought you meant the year 3080…

I think the key point is if they show products are in stock and accept payment for them, they should be providing a timeframe for delivery. If you choose to hold past that timeframe and they cancel your order because the supply cost has gone up, that's legal.
