9hr layover for the flight I checked.
Even without that, way too long of a flight for an old fark like me. Good for the youngsters.

Just know July / August is peak season in Europe.

Anyone knows if flights are mostly full or empty out of Australia these days? Planning go Europe at the end of Feb and prices are quite high so wondering whats going on.

  My understanding is atm, most flights are quite empty going out depending on the destination. For example, you can get cheapish flights to Asia (Singapore, India etc), but there is more demand for lights to South Africa and the UK.

So with the pre departure testing.
Going for a PCR is risky because getting results within that 72 hours is a crapshoot. I've known more people in the last 2 months who had that 7 day expiry come up, than who have gotten actual results back (admittedly its only 3 vs 2 people respectively, but still).
But then with just doing a rapid antigen instead, i assume that needs to be done by a doctor/trained person? Is there specific clinics for that, and how likely are you to get in in the exact day before your flight?
