  • No offence but I thought these are now obsolete? I can't think how that long wire is helpful? Maybe if you are going swimming and could lose em??

    • I find these are good when riding a motorcycle. Cord is long enough to be accessible but without being a hazard.

Any other time I use Aftershokz, but naturally they don't fit or work when riding a bike.

      • Same here, though I don't have this specific model.

These style of buds are generally more flat around the ears because they don't have to accomodate a battery in that area, making it easier to slide your helmet in and out. For general use, I've found them to generally put less pressure around your ears too because of this. But you instead have the issue with cable noise

TWS buds also tend to pop off when you are taking your helmet off, so you risk losing the buds quite easily too. Here it is hard to lose with the cable attaching both ends

Microphone is better located for voice call.

      • Thanks boys. I didn't realise those boutique uses for this!!

      • Yeah. Good for meetings due to strategic placement of mic.

      • Is any of these allows muting the mic without touching the phone/laptop?
        Thanks.

physical work - nothing better then being able to flick out your earphones in a hurry and know they are still on your body. lost the touch sensitive ones too many times.

    • Exactly.

Can't use buds when working at work site.

Was keen on them but some reviews on amazon that they stop working days after purchase made me skeptical, especially there were very few reviews on other sites or YouTube.

    • Amazon reviews need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Yamaha products usually never disappoint.

  • can anyone recommend similar ones like these with the band, that dont stick out like acorns? Need to wear them under the helmet.

    • +1

I use Sony wic300 under my motorcycle helmet.

There's also a wic310 and wic200 which are similar form but different tech

      • cheers, but i prefer the neckband type.

        • Ah I thought you meant lead as band

  • dropped to $39 for me

  • Just returned them, didn't hold charge, when I unpacked there was no charge and every day they needed recharging even after only using them 30 min. Yes I did turn them off
