I believe that one is wired

  • Awesome…have been keeping my eye on these for the last couple months, so looks like now is the time to pull the trigger :)

  • Thanks OP. Much appreciated!

  • How is this compared to mx key apart frm backlit in term of quality and feel?

    • Picked up both the Satechi x3 and MX Keys this evening.

Set up (for context sake) windows desktop/laptop and iPad Pro/iPhone.

Personally the Mx keys felt more natural and responsive. The X3 is on par with the Apple Magic keyboards. I’m 6ft4 with fairly big hands and hoofs. In the past the mac keyboards have felt “cramped” for me.

Tomorrow will be the first real crack with the mx keys but so far so good for my needs. Hope this helps

      • how did you go with the MX keys later? Which do you suggest b/w both?

    • no idea, but i went the custom keyboard route. cost more, but a million times better and satisfying.

  • Really liked the satechi
HOWEVER the fn key sits on the bottom left outside the control key which really after using it for a year I still couldn't get used to it. Otherwise I like how it typed better than the MX and apple keyboards.

Using the MX keys now and the keys feel heavier and more clicky closer to a mechanical keyboard which I don't mind however Bluetooth does disconnect sometimes and I have re-pair it. (This issue becomes a serious issue on some corporate machines with filevault or some security setting setup.)

  • I would love to pick up an X1
