Yes but also no. Bosses will be but as this is a lot more open than any previous game so much easier to get stronger by grinding or doing mini dungeons etc.

TBH If you find demons souls and bloodborne annoying. You are going find that in Elden ring too.
I’ve played all Fromsoft’s games and while they are ‘annoying’, it’s the challenge and satisfaction gain from killing bosses after numerous tries that kept me wanting more of these games.
Having said that, not everyone enjoys these kind of games. If relaxation is what you look for while playing games. You are much better off getting the new Horizon dawn and playing it in easy mode while enjoying its story.
Furthermore, we are all in Australia so you can always take advantage of EB’s 7 days return policy. Get the game, play it and if it’s not for you, return it.
If I return it do they refund me the $29 and 2 games I traded in?

Well with the Series X and PS5 pre-orders you could pre order and the trade in when you go in store to collect your console.
Deal was mentioned before, but the list is very helpful.
I traded persona 5 strikers, dragons dogma dark arisen, tetris efect and ghostrunner ps5. EB boosted the value for all and i got horizon and elden ps5 version and only payed $21. Im at level 3 eb card i think.

The list is out of date, there are a lot of games eligible now that aren’t on the list as the prices increased once the preowned sale started.

yes, the only risk is your games could be removed from their list, make you ineligible. if your games are kind of new,should be fine. otherwise if you've finished the games, just do it now.
Thanks OP, did the 2 for $30 deal at JBHiFi (Yakuza: Like a Dragon Day Ichi) and took them straight over to EB today. $59 for Elden Ring, pick up on launch day, easy.
Yep, did the same, but with Zombie Army 4, got it for $55 due to EB World lvl 4 bonus. ;-)

Just did the fifa 21 deal like the guy above mentioned. Fifa 21 on xbox is $11 trade in so bought two from my local target and traded them in for elden ring. Total cost $39

CEX have FIFA 21 for $15The joys of EB, just drove 20 minutes only to be told only 1 of my games is worthy of trading in……. Such a waste of petrol and time.

I called my local EB and the person on the phone was very helpful and went through each of the games I had (over 10 games) with me to determine if they were eligible. In the end only Persona 5 (non-royal) and Spider Man were eligible.
