TP-Link Deco X20-DSL AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 VDSL2 Modem $203.90 Delivered @ PCLive ($193.71 PB @ Officeworks)

122

Good price for a decent modem/router for us plebs who are stuck on FTTN/FTTB that also has Wifi 6 & mesh capabilities. I purchased one from Officeworks today using their price matching to replace my old Gen 1 Smart Modem which packed it in. From what I've seen it's not the cheapest price it's been but looks to be the best price for those that don't have Good Guys Commercial.

Usually priced at $249 at most stores.

$182 on good guys commercial, or $262 with the extra satellite.

    • Ah I'd wish I'd known! Was in a rush to get it. I've updated the description to say this is the best price outside of GGC for those who don't have access.

    • For days I have been trying to get one off GGC but has errors processing. They have since put the price up to 292!! Grr

  • Cheaper on ebay with ebay plus and also cheaper on good guys commercial?- https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/124879247945

  • I use this modem on my fttn connection (bought from good guys commercial a few months ago for $162). I combined it with a few of the x20 mesh units.

Prior to this modem I used a TP-Link router modem combo provided by tpg and suffered constant drop outs. Ever since I replaced it with this, the drop outs have pretty much stopped. The mesh units also work well, overall I'm pretty happy with it

  • Stating the obvious but don't get only this for just the AX modem router as the range was worse than my 5 year old cheapo AC TP-Link Archer. Add just 1 x20 satellite however and the mesh range comes to life.

  • $183.30 on eBay with eBay plus

  • Does this work with NBN(doesn't use vdsl2) ?
