PetCulture Sent Wrong Quantity Due to Website Error

I made a purchase for 160 dog poop bags according to the dropdown selection on the website but when I received my order, there were only 10 bag.

PetCulture said their website was set up incorrectly and are fixing it, meanwhile giving a 50% refund.

I'm not happy as I only received 10/160 bags I expected which is a lot less than 50%.

What would be a fair remedy in this situation?

You can still see the item on their website here, displaying 160 bags:

  • But you received the holder?

    • Right. I didn't need the holder though. Was purchasing for the bags.

      • But the holder was part of the purchase? And cost price is probably higher for the holder than the bags, hence only 50% off, as you still have the holder.

As others have said, request a full refund and return the whole thing as you didn’t get what you paid for.

        • If it was a huge issue they would have taken down that page once they saw the error. They haven't and should honour the offer.

          • @brad1-8tsi: It's sold out , they don't need to take it down no one can buy it, they should correct it if and when they restock/resell the item.

OP should get a refund if not happy with their offer as product not as described, some people would be happy with the 50percent off and less bags , others like OP may not.

Return all and get a full refund if you aren’t happy.
Only some places like Amazon will go above and beyond to keep you happy.

Return and get your money back. Did you really need to ask this question?

Mistakes happen - Ask for a refund if you're not happy with the offer.

Having said that, that holder is about $10 everywhere else, so getting a 50% refund and keeping the product is a pretty good deal. You can buy a 4-roll bag refill at Woolies for $6, taking the total to less than $11.

  • Have you called them? If not then call them.

    Unbelievable.

    Talk about entitlement.

Take it to the High Court.

You are entitled to get what you pay for, if that is entitlement, then you are right.

      • Do you take your fruit home from the shop and weigh it? If it's 32 grams short to you go back demanding a refund?

        My guess is yes.

  • Trevor Long?

  • The silver version also still states 160 bags https://www.petculture.com.au/products/rufus-coco-do-good-po… and is not sold out
