Seems so odd seeing a first party game so "cheap", especially one with the Mario name attached.
What's the catch?
The catch is, it's a slightly disappointing game. Does not hold up to games like Super Mario Odyssey.
its not a first party title. its third party developed… i think thats always been the case, at least for the previous one too…
thats the catch. its definitely not a mario odyssey, but its not trying to be. ive only watched someone play whos not a big gamer at all play it, and they loved it. so probably not for the hardcore. its mostly a cutesy game, with a ridiculous amount of things to explore/unlock and a whole bunch of wink wink nintendo/gaming related humour behinds a turn based battle system that even if you like it, is a bit repetitive but fun with boss battles. definitely worth it at that price.
I really enjoyed it but definitely not a game for little kids.
