I use these at work. These are the barest of bones keyboard.

    • So?

It's a keyboard. Does the job, and well enough. Reasonably reliable, inexpensive, fine for everyday use.

Just giving feedback for anyone interested. They are fit for a purpose but maybe not everyone's purpose.

        Someone got triggered lol

Almost any other keyboard is better than this. Letters rub off quickly, individual keys become unreliable. Build quality sucks and you're paying for the Logitech name. I've seen better noname keyboards. At least it's a cheap mistake.

You must have got a knock-off. These keyboards are awesome. The letters on mine look new after a couple of decades and it's the only keyboard where a key still hasn't failed in any way. Unless something has changed in the manufacturing process over the years, you are deeply misled or attempting to mislead others for the sake of it. If the latter, you picked the wrong keyboard boi.

      • Knock-off keyboard. Is that a thing?
Lol'ed at "you picked the wrong keyboard Boi", you deserve a +1 for creativity

      • From JBHiFi? Nope. No one is knocking off a $12 keyboard. Look at the reviews.

Man OzBargain comments give me a chuckle.

" These keyboards are awesome. The letters on mine look new after a couple of decades and it's the only keyboard where a key still hasn't failed in any way. "

100% agree. I keep a couple of these keyboards for spare/standby when:
        1. Building PCs… plug-in and go. No waiting for USB drivers to be installed.
        2. PCs that need 'wired' input so that they can be set up for wireless or Blue-tooth keyboard input.
        3. Simple plug-in keyboard for a Raspberry Pi 4 that is used as a HTPC and doesn't need constant keyboard connection.
        4. When Blue-tooth /wireless keyboards fail (and they do!), or their associated Blue-tooth adapter drivers fail (and they do… Windows and Mac!)…

… and so on and so on. If you want a keyboard out-on-the-box to just work…. these are it. It may NOT be a multi-media or gaming keyboard, but it IS a fully function qwerty keyboard.

For everyone else, stop bagging it because it fails to compare with your over-priced $400+ gaming-centric keyboard… any comparison is both odious and redundant.

        • Amazon AU 2 star review by user Trina Arjoon with an image provided showing several keys faded/wiped. Unless it's a fake review or this user cleaned just those keys with isopropyl alcohol or has some sort of weird acid sweat medical condition, it has happened for some units. It's possible they've changed the process to prevent this in newer units I suppose.

Most keyboards don't require usb drivers these days. What you're describing applies to almost any modern USB keyboard. Doesn't make it good for everyday use.

must've gotten a defective unit or something, used it for 9 months now for both gaming (including rhythm gaming which is probably the most taxing task on keyboards) and typing. not a single issue with any key on the board.

      • A sample size of one means a product has no issues at all? Um okay.

It's a $12 keybaord. If you don't expect defective units and spotty quality control at this price point you're not being realistic.

      • similar usage - I count song bpms using the key-tapping method

  • The multimillion company I work at used this keyboard 💀

To paraphrase a multimillionaire. You dont become/stay a multimillionaire by splurging on your minions.

  • Thank you OP yesterday I bought one which was showing last one in stock and it seems to be back in stock again pretty soon.

  • name another cheap spill-resistant keyboard

    i'll wait !
