  • Stake's "instant" deposit takes much longer than Selfwealth or even Pearler. These 2 take about 1-2 mins. The first time I transferred to Stake it took 10 mins. Now I've been waiting for almost 15 mins and still nothing has arrived.

  • Has anyone transferred from commsec? If so was there any fees?

  • If I transfer my CommSec holdings does my CommSec account remain open?

    • +1

Yes, my commsec account is still open 10 months later.

      • Thanks! Did you transfer your entire holdings over?
Also, did you find getting a new HIN an issue for you?

        • +2

I've been using a CommSec account to use their live pricing for free for years without ever having any holdings in it.

  • Can you keep your current HIN or do you need a new hin?

    • +1

Stake give you a new HIN

  • Do stake let you update the average buy price based when you transfer in from what you know about previous broker data?

    • +1

Yes they do and if for some reason the average price is incorrect after the transfer, you can contact stake to get it updated.
