Free A$20 Worth of BTC (after Registration with Referral & First Deposit) @ CoinSpot

910

CoinSpot is at it again and starting early with their Valentines Day ❤️ bonus referral credit, for new users signing up and making a deposit.

Referral is normally $10 so this is double!

If you signed up last year, and held your BTC (HODL!) — you'll be down nearly 20%. But if you'd traded and bought other coins (this is NOT financial advice and consider any CGT implications when trading crypto!) with that original $20 you could easily be a hundredaire! Maybe even a thousandaire!!

Use a referral code from the OzB referral system and spread the love this Valentines Day! 🥰

  • Register and ensure there is a promo entered (remember, use the OzB referral system!)
  • Verify your identification (Drivers Licence or Passport), this was pretty much instant for me
  • Make a deposit
  • Reward is nearly instant after deposit is received

There is plenty of options for making a deposit, including:

  • POLi
  • PayID
  • BPAY
  • Cash Deposit (@ Newsagents)
  • Direct Deposit

CoinSpot also supports withdrawals, they need your bank details for this (BSB, Account Name & Number).

A$10 worth of Bitcoin for referrer and referee.

This is part of Valentine's Day Sales for 2022.

              • @uneeek: Yeah my bank does use osko, I use it all the time, not sure what happened.

                • @Bongmanmike: Check your Deposit History to see if it shows anything?

                  • @uneeek: Yeah nothing there but I’ve seen this in the FAQ:

“Direct Deposits via OSKO, especially if this is your first deposit, may be held by your bank or take 1 Business Day to clear into your CoinSpot account.”

So I’m gonna wait it out

Like many, I first started with CoinSpot. It was very easy to use and would be a good option for many that just want to make a simple purchase and hold. This offer is a great starter.

Min deposit of $1. If you think you're going to just get your free $20 of BTC and transfer it to another exchange, think again. They have a minimum withdraw/send amount of .0006 BTC which would be around $38-40AUD as of now. I would recommend a $20-25 deposit if you're looking at doing this.

You may then be interested in signing up at sites like Coinbase to get their free earn credits. They're all small amounts but add up. Just like if you use the Brave web browser (exactly the same as Chrome) which earns you BAT tokens - another crypto earner.

And use presearch.org for your search engine to get I think it's 0.05 pre tokens per search

    • what is minimal withdrawal for XML?

Also it's useful for beginners to know this. When you make a deposit, that will appear as Account Funds to buy crypto with. Your free $20 of Bitcoin will be in your Bitcoin wallet. I have come across someone who was waiting for the $20 only to realise it went into their wallet and not their Account Funds.

  • Compare the price of buying Bitcoin from coinspot and literally any other exchange. It’s ridiculous. Stay away from coinspot

So it is open the registering page and put in a random reference code? The page still says $10 BTC though

  • I get the same thing, it says $10, not $20 when i go to the random refferal link

  • No issues with Coinspot. Like their customer service. Only negative is their spread is much bigger than others I have noticed. Make sure you take fees AND spread into account.

Just a note that this affects your tax return. I did this deal last year, and I was required to give my accountant a tax statement. It was a lot of screwing around for such a small amount of money.

BTW, that $20 from last year's deal is now worth $20.50 :-)

How much do you need to deposit?

People have been depositing as little as $1, but it might be a good opportunity to start your crypto portfolio and start trading! (not financial advice!)

  • Don’t bother with coinspot, binance are far cheaper.

  • Does this $20 trigger a CGT event or is it only if withdraw or sell it?

    • Would love to know the answer too :)

    • It does :(
