Awesome balls for your pups at half price. These are tough little suckers, and easy to spot on grass.

Small size means little jaws can get a good grip to display proudly as they trot, and make the other dogs with Kmart balls jealous.

These balls are great (that's what she said)!

    • There miss rate is lower than greatballs

    • “Some balls are held for charity…”

  • are these good for kids too?

    • +7

They bounce high so don’t see why not. Risk of attracting every dog in a km radius is also high though

    • +8

No fuzz to get stuck in their braces. So yes

  • I found the launcher quite good as well - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B00006IX59/ref=ppx_yo_d…

Edit: This is the medium size.

  • Showing $12.95 here.

I found you had do log in to prime to get the price

      • +1

        Thanks, yep.

Call me crazy but when you log in as Prime you get a lower price but it ships from Amazon US? The $12.95 appears to be Amazon AU stock.

Thanks, my doggy is looking forward to some new balls.

My parents' pug loves these balls.

  • +1

Great balls. Lowest price was around $5 for 2 pack from memory.

    • -1

Yes. Not worth it. I’ll wait for the next one

    • +7

      They're not Great balls.
These are Ultra balls, which can be used to catch higher level Pokemon.
Or if you read the label, it says it is "for dogs", so they are advocating these to catch your typical Growlithe and Arcanine.

Medium or large for a border collie ?

    • +3

Medium - same as tennis ball size and fits the most common size launcher. Large are too big for most of the big dogs

      • What happens if you buy a ball that’s too large? I bought large for my kelpie because I thought he was going to swallow the medium.

        • +1

Your dog will still play with it; large is not that huge. 3 inches for large vs 2.5 for medium. You will need a thrower designed for this large size if you want a thrower.

        • +1

Usually they just can't hold it in their mouth very well, so it's hard for them to bring it back.

    • +1

medium is a good size, we have a smaller dog and it's fine.

warning though, i've seen larger dogs chump through these things, (but they still carry them around) ours hasn't though (she's tiny though)

      • Our dog is not tiny (20+kg) and a chewer, but hasn't managed to chump through these chukckits yet.

    • Have two of these balls medium size in yellow colour and a large border collie (now 3 yrs old, 24kg - he was the biggest in the litter)

Medium is the go, and you can hurl it quite far versus tennis balls too (easily 50+m) which is good for a border collie.

He likes to chew on toys, but this has really stood the test of time. We don't leave him with the ball though but occasionally he finds one.

Great balls! Do you NEED some extra balls jv?

    • A braver keyboard warrior I have not seen. Extra balls would be like holding a candle to the Sun.

    ordered thanks OP

    I got 2 for $9.67 - Amazon US

Bought these a few years ago and still going strong

  • +1

These are awesome, very tough, bouncy and fits perfectly in a small puppy's mouth safely.

  • +4

These small ones are too small for my adult toy poodle. They're slightly just bigger than ping pong balls be aware.

    • +2

they are also a pita when they go under the couch

    • +2

Yes, very important to get the correct size for your pet to avoid risk of choking etc…

    • How much does your adult toy poodle weigh? I have a 5 month old cavoodle clocking in at 3kg at the moment, not expecting her to get hugely bigger (was 2kg at 2 months) so thinking the small are probably appropriate.

      • +1

Small will be fine. My cavoodle is 1 year and 6.4kg. She was also 2kg at 2 months but 4.3kg at 5 months so yours should be smaller fully grown. She loves these so much I bought another 2 to keep as spare.

      • +1

Cavoodles generally grow larger than toy poodles in their adult form. My toy poodle is over 7kg at the moment. Probably in the next few months you might want to change to the medium size due to choking hazards and chuck the small ones, considering its already too small for my toy poodle.

Personally, I would go for medium for cavoodles. They grow pretty quickly.

    I thought these Ultra Balls are for zapping the dogs into them when they're not behaving. { Insert sad face }

  • +1

Careful what other dogs you play near with these if they're small. Back in the day we had a labrador (big dog), my dad used to take her to the park to play with the other dogs. One of them had a little ball (it was soft / squishy, too, which didn't help). Labrador swallowed the damn thing… cost a fortune in vet bills to have it surgically removed! Not to mention the time she had to spend wearing the Cone of Shame afterwards.

Glad you posted this - I was about to hit buy (as I've purchased these before and they are great) but I checked my reciept and I bought medium before. I have border collies and they love them but the medium fit inside their whole mouth so small probably not a good idea

  • +1

Worth marking them if you are particular about your own stuff. These as these are so popular it becomes a lottery as to which ball goes home with which dog.

    • +1

After 2+ years of COVID, I only wish I could be that blase about going home with somebody else's ball in my mouth.

      Wait, that came out wrong…

  • +2

My pup’s about to lose his ones, so he can consider these compensation 🥜

  • +2

These are great - I have a jack Russell who chews through any toy - he will pierce a hole in a tennis ball in seconds.

These he can chew and chew and he doesn't even leave a mark. 10/10

  • $12.95 for me for the Small

  • The only got my dog likes and can’t break.
