Cashrewards - $115 Cashback Rejected after Almost 5 Months

Was the NordVPN lags, has to email them just to get it added to pending and now 100 days later just got an email saying they have no proof of purchase?
Already sent all the invoices and shit, no issues with adblocks as i've used CR before for purchases a lot smaller. How do I go about getting them to have an actual look at it or was I just scammed?

All cashback are scams unless they can give instant cashback.

    Different name, same scam.

    • Rubbish. Never had an issue.

A large number of complaints about CR is normally the fault of the OP.

Have you actually used CR or are you just spouting your usual negativity if isnt related to crypto?

@Belgarath: Judging by the threads on all those cashback things failing to pay, or user having to jump through 210498203489 hoops I wouldnt waste my time.

Yes, it's always the users fault. It can't possible be the tracking.

Two posters say they have problems.

People with problems would post about it, people without problems wouldn't normally write a post saying "I got my cashback fine" as there's nothing much to say. For all you know, for every person with a tracking problem there could be 100 people without any problems.

always check your click history, if it shows at time of purchase

  • Have you tried contacting @tightarse about this?

Hi @Big Sexy Unit. Feel free to turn on messaging and shoot through your ticket number and CR email address. From my limited understanding of your original comment, it appears you lodged an untracked claim, and cashback was subsequently declined by the merchant. Apart from cancellations, note the only time a claim would be declined by NordVPN, is if they attribute the sale to another channel - this happens when CR is not last click, or if you have 3rd party plugins installed such as AdBlockers/VPNs/Honey etc. I have a close contact at NordVPN, so I'll gladly chase this up for you and provide full transparency via their attribution analytics, which shows the full member journey (click sequence etc). Looking forward to hearing back.

It felt awkward, but in a good way when I typed it up lol :)

  • I bought the NordVPN deal with cashback on the 15th of Jan 2020. It was approved on the 23rd of March 2020. $158.98.
No adblock or any tracking filters installed.

Did you not listen to your own advice, people that get the cashback don't gloat about it ^^^

      ;)

      • My advice was not to just read complaints and assume it's representative of every user. :)

  • hoping tA can fix :P

  • I am from New Zealand and I purchased a 2 year NordVPN plan via CR back in November 2021. It has been approved since then but I have not been able to withdraw the rewards via Paypal (as linking via a bank account is unavailable for NZ members). Whenever I try to link my PayPal account, a red error message pops up indicating that my PayPal account is unverified. Paypal have confirmed that my account is verified (via their Messaging Center) but CR still does not allow me to link my PayPal account. I was hoping a representative from CR could look into this. Thanks.

    • Hi. Please turn on messaging in your OzB settings and shoot me a PM. If you can’t turn it on, please TWAM the site moderators for guidance. Thank you.

      • Hi, I have turned on messaging but am unable to PM you as my account is a day old. Not sure if you can send me a message and I might be able to reply. Thanks.
