Recommendation for New Laptop for Live 3D Rendering - Budget $2500

I am in a dire need of a new laptop without breaking the bank ….
My old one is too slow for what I do and the keyboards are starting to fail
I need it to be powerful enough to handle Live 3D rendering softwares like Twinmotion or Enscape so it renders as I draw
My budget is approx 2.5K .Is it too low?
I have totally no idea when it comes to computers so please OZBargain IT experts help me

Thank you

$2.5K is way too low for a decent live rendering laptop rig. Heck, it's even too low for a desktop. Just about enough for an RTX 3080 alone.

Do you definitely need the power on the go? You may get more bang for buck getting a cheap laptop to use on the go and a desktop for the power hungry stuff

What CPU and/or GPU and amount of RAM do you need for "Twinmotion or Enscape so it renders as I draw"? This will allow people to give you their opinion as you can lookup the specs and include it in a post.

Looking at the requirments (https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/TwinMotion-Sy…) one of these (https://www.metabox.com.au/store/Gaming-Laptops/Prime-S-Rang…) should handle it. Not familiar with the software my self, but I think Metabox has decent laptops at various configs.

I have a Prime S with 3070 and it's fairly slow with Lumion due to throttling and the limitations of the laptop CPU/GPU. Note I actually really like the laptop, it's just not ideal for this.

Probably best value for money choice if desktops are off limits.
