Recently purchased Chicken 'n' Cheese with Lettuce. Was surprised to discover lettuce was free. Tried it at a different McDonald's and it was also free.
Doesn't appear to be an option on app so instore Only.

You can add salad extras for free on KFC burgers from what I remember. My wife regularly does it.

A hamburger is $2. A cheeseburger is $4. Is there a hack to add cheese to a hamburger or to get the cheesy price down? Didn't appear to be an option in the App. BTW Macca's App is so poor generally but after using the HJ's App wow what a load of absolute dog sh!te, HJ's is great UI.

These maccas "hacks" always get huge upvotes. No idea why but I'm guessing there's a lot of ozbargainers who eat a lot of fast food on a regular basis cos it's cheaper than going to a restaurant or even buying quality food from a grocery store and cooking yourself

A chicken and cheese burger only has a half shot of Mac chicken sauce so you are actually loosing out.. how is this a deal?
Maccas can't be too loose with the chicken sauce, otherwise they'd be losing out…
Same deal for the cheese. They can only put half a slice on otherwise it blows out their profit margins
