May have read this as fleshlight originally..

  • Looks like the Ryobi One+ 18V Hybrid Shoplight is on sale too at $109, i used to see these at $139.

Does the light actually flash? Because if it doesn't….. 1 star.

  • Cheaper than the Battery and Charger by themselves, or am I missing something?

    • Yeah, hence the deal. But let's face it, no one actually buys only the battery and charger like that!

      • Oh 100%, that particular kit is terrible value!

I really do wonder what the cost price for some of these skins and batteries really are! The Precision Rotary Drill is $99 for just the skin, and the kit with the 2ah battery with the slow charger is also $99…but the Kit with the Drill, 2ah battery, and charger was $99, then $79, then stores were reducing it down to $60/55/30 depending on what the store manager felt like doing!

At the very least it says to me that they must have a decent mark up on them!

        • Or stores are willing to take a loss to move deleted stock.
There is probably a point where it's beneficial to sell unwanted stock at a loss to get new stock in that will make you profit.

Maybe good just for the battery indeed.
200 lumen is good only for working indoors… a standard bike light is 500 lumen these days, and they can be adjusted to brighter, dimmer or flashing

    • I've got headlamps that are higher than 250lm! But running on that battery, this thing would last a lot longer for sure, but 200lm seems pretty weak for the price.

  • 250 lumens of brightness

I'd rather pay a bit more and get the 2,500 lumens one…

  • Based on what's happened with the other kits like this with newer 2ah battery,(like the dremel-sized drill and the fan) I suspect it'll be getting marked down to around $50 in a few weeks.

  • Overpriced to begin with. If you need a light only and have batteries this one is the cheapest Ryobi tool available. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-one-18v-led-torch-skin-onl…

    • That is indeed cheap, but that's a LOW amount of lumens!

  • Is it a bargain when you don’t really need to buy it but it’s on ozbargain?
