  • Bought one and returned it. These are awful. What do you expect for a $20 all plastic fan though?

    • +1

Sorry to hear about your bitter experience.

Could you elaborate on what made it awful?

And what did you end up buying/using instead?

      • It's loud even on the lowest setting and feels like it will fall apart. Better off with a $20 Kmart pedestal fan

        • $15 Bunnings Pedestal (Click) is good. The one with all white buttons is more powerful than one with multi colour bottons.

  • +3

    These are extremely noisy.

I've recently bought a DC pedestal fan and would never go back.

      bought a DC

      Not a Marvel fan?

          Twas a joke :)

    • Thanks for the feedback. Good you found a suitable product.

    • My Kambrook DC fan just died last night after 5 years of service.

      Devastated.

    • Yeah these are one ozbargain meme that is legit

    • don't you like white noise

      • There's white noise, and then there's just noise.

        • i guess everyone different i actually like the sound of these

  • helped a tone with airing out a small but long bathroom that had little ventilation - bought a week ago for $19 :/

  • These are loud and shit. Buy something else.

I have a box fan from Aldi I got 10 years ago that looks similar, which is much quieter. I got fooled with the "it looks the same, it must be the same", which it definitely isn't.

    • I'd say you were reverse-fooled, if the Aldi product turned out to be better.

  • With the others. Have an older model but the new models pitch is quite annoying

Back in the day, I used a similar fan as a side panel for a hot PC. Worked a charm and cheaper then most 120mm fans.

    • +1

Perhaps even more pleasant sound than whiny pc fans.

  • 30 of these, or a Dyson?
