  Note that this is the extension. Not the expansion.
  You need the expansion to use this extension. Then this will extend the number of players from 4 to 6.

    So this would be the fourth box:

  Isn't it a shame that after over 25 years they are still flogging extensions to expansions

  So if 6 players are playing you need
  Base Catan plus
  base Catan extension plus
  traders and barbarians expansion plus
  Traders and barbarians extension
