    Great value

  • price updated to $178

edit: price gets updated on checkout

    • Is that including the '25% off at checkout' underneath the price which brings 178 down to 133.50?

      • i dont get why they don't just show the final price at the catalogue, instead of adding a discount at checkout.

        • Stops the bots some whats.

    These are $45

    I wonder which is better?

    • +1

I am happy with my $12 QCY T5, QCY T7 was DOA.

  • They fall outta my ears, happy to sell mine worn twice and cleaned.

    Your mileage may vary.

I'm so scared to buy them cause I've heard so many people say the say thing

      • +1

maybe I have baby ears but they've never fallen out, they have different tip sizes available so maybe those people didn't swap them out?
For my money though, go to the XM4 instead, better in every way in my opinion; I just upgraded and it's a serious improvement

got a pair for Christmas, not once have they fallen out of my ears.

      • -2

Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend..there is a reason why it’s on sale so often..one of the worst headset I had..

      • +1

Mate I recommend Bose ear tips which can be found on amazon/ebay for around $8, wear that on the earbuds and you can enjoy these. for this price I would highly recommend buying these.

        • What model eartips do you use please? The are a few varieties.

  • I only after noise cancelling function? Is this good for this purpose? Comfortable to wear when studying?

    • +1

Depends on your ear shape. These will sit pretty deep inside your ears. If you want excellent ANC in over ear style consider the WH-1000XM3

    • Perfect for not moving (plane/studyetc) but don't ride a bike or run with them.

      • Ride my bike to/from work everyday with these things. Haven't had an issue once.

Personally nc white noise was way too loud, overcompensating it too much..gave me slight pain in my ears even without any sound on..

Using Outdoor is just unbearable..it picks up slightest wind and over-amplifying it even at lowest nc setting..

I might had bad luck with it but honestly can’t recommend this one..Hard pass

      • What would you recommend then?

        • I’ve been asking around too. Jebra came up few times. Been using Apple/Bose without much complaint. I might try jebra a go, only tried very long time ago when only few companies made bt earphone and jebra was a leading brand back then.

Personally, wherever possible, I’ve switched to(and recommend) over-ear headsets. They seems to provide much gentler nc noise and better for extended time(healthier choice)..used Bose and dr.dre beat, both lasted much longer than xm3 did.

Outdoor(jogging) use, I gave up and switched back to cheap over-neck bt earphone without nc, surprisingly outlasting xm3. Celery juice mentioned anc off below. Probably worked except fit wasn’t stable enough for me to run with them. Still looking around myself too. Any recommendations would be most welcome.

You need to enable Wind noise mode in the companion app for it to be usable in windy environments. I believe that is setting is equivalent to turning off the ANC anyway.

  • decent price
i use mine for work to block out dental sounds. If it gets loud then it would further block out noise.
Default ear piece was abit large but it comes with different size so can adjust to your liking.

  • Bought some, thanks Sygnoze. Does anyone know if they function independently or with a master/slave connection?

    • +1

      They can function independently

  • hows the mic on this? i have the large WH xm3, sound and noise cancel excellent but mic terrible.

    • Reviews of these suggest that the mic is not great at all.

    • Mic super rubbish outdoors, indoor performs well

      • probably just want to use this for work at home. just sick of dragging a mic around.

    • I use them for my work Zooms and I've never had a complaint, I've been told they sound worse than the Jaybird X3's I was using, but still completely fine for work meetings.

I've never used the mic outside.

    I bought sp800 ones instead for $112.50
I had the sp700 and they stayed in my ears without issues.

    • How the mic when you use it outdoor?

      • Not sure. I can't say I have used the mic outdoors.

  • Fell out while sleeping in plane under the seat. And hard to find when it's so small

    • you should use earbuds in plane, as if it falls out, you cannot move your chair to find it. Even in business class, and you have to ask the crew to come to help you. Furthermore, I don't know whether earbuds will affect the ear pressure balance when you are high up in air.

      • I used WF xm3 earbuds on business class with a Bluetooth transmitter for movie. It worked really well.

Noise cancellation is awesome (way better than the ones provided on the plane and of course more hygiene).

It actually helps to relieve ear pressure. Not sure why, I am quite sensitive to air pressure and had to keep drinking water every time the plane takes off or landing. With these, they help me without feeling as much pressure.

  • Come on, Amazon. You cam do it!

These headphones are great if you’re sitting indoors and using them. Sound quality and mic is decent, again these are great when you’re seated indoors.

BUT and these are a very significant, deal breaker, buts:
    - Mic is awful outdoors for how much it picks up. In a windy day don’t even bother with them
    - fit isn’t great and they come lose quite easily (I have small ear canals). This is using the supplied tips as well as others I’ve had from previous IEMs

I have these and Jabra Elite Active 65ts. The latter was bought later. These are better for music (which is primarily why I bought them) but I’d take the Jabra over these.

Interestingly enough people I’ve been on calls to say the Jabra is much clearer than the Sony in how it picks up my voice

    • XM3 outdoor noise cancellation is also pretty hard to use during windy days. That’s the whole reason I upgraded to XM4.

  • Bought this with the PS Plus discount a couple years back. Excellent device if you arent using it as handsfree cos its microphone is beyond rubbish.

JB price matched (+$6 for postage since Binge Lee is online mostly). Also since it's a price matched deal, JB's Extra Care Replacement comes down to $20 for 3 years. I know these extra cares are mostly scams, but considering that between year 1-3 if it stops working (which it almost definitely will!), I can get store credit no question asked, it's certainly worth it.

  • Got a pair at the store. Same deal. Discount comes up at payment time.

Not many left at Bing Lee Mona Vale.

I picked it up for a present when I went to get the XM4 for me.
