    All except one has cancelled on me.
    No option to contact the driver during the waiting time and the GPS doesn’t update.

    Last trip I waited 15 minutes (in Sydney CBD) until eventually the driver cancelled on me so I booked an Uber. The 13CABS driver then called me asking for my address for a cash job and started yelling at me when I told him I was already half way there in an Uber.

      Were they booked in advance? I was thinking of using this to book in advance to go somewhere important on early Sunday morning but now I'm reconsidering relying on it.

        They were “on demand” bookings. Can’t speak to the prebooking reliability.

  I've only ever had cancellations and gave up during the Amex offer… Thought it was me, guess it was a common experience!

  Just used it for the first time.
  First taxi (Black and White) allegedly drove past me and stopped, but there was no taxi matching the plate near me.

  Cancelled and ordered through 13 cabs. Driver came, took me to my destination, but once I reached had no idea what placie was and couldn't get the trip to end. Sat in his car while he called tech support. Eventually the ride somehow cancelled on my app and they sent a new car for me. Which I cancelled, and then the driver asked to be paid, which I had no choice but to do.

  Should have got an uber for $11 instead of placie which cost me $25

  Would not recommend

  So I am curious, is the coupon like the other one offered here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/680245 in that you can use a referral code for your first trip to get $20, don't use the coupon, then for your next trip use the coupon?
