Used this for the first time last week from the CBD, a little slower than the usual apps but it aggregates a few different offers like Ola and different cab companies and you pick which one you want. This code is for 13cabs in the app, not sure if it stacks with the referral codes that also give $20.

UPDATE: You can use a referral code for your first trip to get $20, just don't use 13CABS, then for your next trip, use 13CABS for the first time and you will get another $20 to use.

    Despite the free inclusions, I'd sooner walk than ever catch a taxi again.

    Competition is a good thing. I cannot tell you enough how much the Australian (and many overseas) taxi companies deserved the disruption. If the service was like taxis in Japan, I'd probably still be using them.

  Be very careful with using 13cabs on Placie. My cabbie refused to let me out because he thought I had to pay him in cash when I've already paid on Placie. Evidently there's some miscommunication between Placie and 13cabs regarding how the transaction works.
