  I honestly have no idea how these Sydney CBD businesses are afloat… the city is dead and i'm assuming landlords are not forgiving on the rent?

          @ATTS: Used to work at Soul Origin, we would start boxing up leftover salads right after the lunch rush finished at around 2, depending on if the store is open for "dinner" or not after that time is usually when you can grab a bargain.

            My local store closes at 6pm, so would the bargain start at around 2pm?

            also when you said start "boxing up" is that for immediate sale price or just boxed to be sold at a lower price later ie nearer to closing time?

              @ATTS: Yeah probably around 2 or 3 then, the deal increases the later in the day it is, caveat being that you dont get as much choice.

              By boxing up I meant we would just start scooping the salads into containers for the lower price later. We would do half the box in one salad and half the box in another, we always had fresh salads (and sandwiches) every day.

                I remember walking past over the years several times in the afternoon around 3 or 4 pm and sometimes half an hour before close but i didnt see any signs of the discount but there was still alot of product
