Using Coupons + Gift Cards on eBay?

Hey!! So sorry if this has been asked before but I had a search and couldn't find a specific answer on OzB. Google has mixed answers so I didn't want to risk it either.

Can I use a coupon code + gift card on eBay? Or can I only use either? Was planning to buy and use a gift card in combination with a coupon code that eBay blessed upon me.

Otherwise, feel free to trash eBay and how we can't get cashback in combination with coupon codes lol. (Personally I don't care anymore since I stopped using eBay for AliExpress).

    To be more specific:

    • Officially speaking, you can redeem up to 7 gift cards in conjunction with a coupon code in one transaction.

    • Not-so-officially speaking, you may be able to redeem 8 gift cards in conjunction with a coupon code in one transaction.

      Yup I agree, I have also had 8 GC + 1 coupon accepted in the past (long time ago though)

    Amazon I can’t find anything I want that I’d regard as a bargain
    EBay is pretty close to no bargains, and coupon = no cashback is crap
    AliExpress bargains are getting rare, and usually from less reliable new sellers

    Is there a new or lesser known marketplace where we can get reliable bargains?

    You can use both to purchase but if you use a coupon you will not get cashback.
