This offer is only available to primary account holders. Secondary account holders and their respective spend will not be included in the calculation for cashback.

  1. This offer is limited to a maximum cashback amount of AUD 25 per month for the primary account holder. This is equivalent to a maximum spend of AUD 2,500 per month, to qualify for a 1% cashback.

  2. The cashback calculation includes spend in Australian Dollars (AUD) only.

  3. The cashback amount will be credited within 10 weeks of your transaction.

  4. Cashback will be credited to the account with the highest spend per month, each month the offer is available. For example, if you hold a Citibank Plus Account and spend AUD 500 in a month, and a Citi Global Currency Account and spend AUD 100 in a month, you will be credited 1% cashback only on the Citibank Plus Account for the AUD 500 spend (equivalent to $5 cashback).

  5. The offer is available from 24 January 2022 to 21 March 2022. You can start spending at any time during the offer period and receive cashback.

  6. Customers must claim cashback by 15 May 2022, if you have not received cashback by 22 April 2022. Please contact us at 13 24 84 for assistance.

  7. Only customers who were sent this communication are eligible for the promotion.

    just putting here again that HSBC debit has ongoing 2% on all tap transactions https://www.hsbc.com.au/accounts/products/everyday-global/ - Earn 2% cashback3 on tap and pay transactions under $100

      the HSBC one is good rates but excluding anything online…

      • correct indeed. nothing online, or anything above $100. just sharing for those who arent aware of it

    • Do note that you need to make a 2K deposit every month to be eligible for this. However you can deposit and transfer out the next day (This is what I do)

  • Has anyone been using Citibank Debit for forex transactions recently?
    It seems to be a 1% charge on top of spot rate for my recent aliexpress transactions, anyone else have the same experience?
