Parsons Paddock 2 for $15 = $5.12 after CR … very drinkable bbq wine in comparison to a lot of the other sub $15 wines.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was looking at Jacob's Creek for $10 a bottle

      • +1

Yeah, don't do it. Get the PP. Comes in two varieties.

        • Tried the Pensilva? It's nicer again, and only a tenner.

          • @M00Cow: Yeah i have. It's alright, but I don't think it's worth paying more than $5 for PP until you get your budget up above $15

          • @M00Cow: Pensilva is good for the price, much better than Yellow Tail for around the same price point.

      • This is a ridiculous wine, i would rather go Ned pinot gris for 11 or 19 Crimes for 12 over tis one anytime

        • I don't find 19 Crimes that's nice, to be honest, I prefer Pensilva, but each to their own :)
At the end of the day, they are all budget wines so you can't set your expectations too high.
If you like a full-bodied Shiraz with characteristics of a slightly more expensive drop, the best value for money I've found is Wirra Wirra Shiraz at Dan's for $11.90, equivalent to many $25 to $30 bottles I've had.

  • Just in time for when all the price error beer and wine deals get cancelled!

Cashback did not track my BWS 20% purchase.

    • -1

I had an issue with BWS once and I think it was because they only counted the sale as confirmed once you picked up your purchase, rather than when your CC is charged. Because I picked up outside of a promotion date, I didn't qualify for the promotion. Can't remember all the details but I wonder if this may have also happened to you.

      • +6

I pick up outside of the promotion date ALL The time. I just order it during the hours of promo and then pick it up a day or two later, never had an issue so i dont think it's that.

        • I did pick up on a day outside of the promotion date once and it didn't get tracked.
The invoice doesn't get sent to you until you pick it up and it only has the date of pickup on it.

Had to lodge a review of the cashback (which got approved).

          • @howieyo: Its not a condition to pick up item within promotion, not sure why you are adding tracking issue with your pickup.

        • ok, that's good to hear. I may have been mistaken. Or, possibly, confused it with application of everyday rewards points.

      • Is it written in conditions to pick the item before the promotion?
I have done the pickups next day or got the items delivered and items were tracked after couple of hours of purchase. I use both CR and SB.

      • That's not right, I've always got my points with BWS before collecting it.
I can't see anything that mentions collecting it before the promo ends, happy to be corrected.
Not sure what happened to yours.

    • I had the same issue. I used the app. Will lodge a claim tomorrow when its eligible

      • Hi bazzak,
If you purchased via the Cashrewards app for the last BWS promo, you would have received an email yesterday from our support team on next steps. Please check your spam folder too in case you missed it. Any issues, please PM me. Thanks.

  • Perfect timing. I finished my rosso plonko tonight.

Will probably grab the 2 x PP on special, and maybe a couple bottles of the cheap and cheerful De Bortoli Sacred Hill Shiraz for quaffing while over the cooktop.

Should last me until the end of the month.

  • Literally can't find anything that even with 25% cashback wouldn't be better at First Choice or BWS with sipcoin.

    • Oban 14

      • Not at the point in my life I spend $100+ on a single bottle

        • Lol @ the negs sorry for being poor 🤣

      • OOS :(

      • Oban 14. Great choice.

Good deal on Paulaner if you like your German beers

  • Ordered from Liquorland in the last cashback deal on 14 January. Still don't have my delivery.

    • +1

Give them a call. Mine came in a few days with standard delivery.

      • Raised a case with Australia Post, it's looking like it's lost.

  • Is there a minimum spend?
Cant find any details on the link.

    • No.

Nice, but sadly no 2000 Flybuys bonus at the moment.

    • +4

Didn't even get mine last time.

      • The flybuys or the cashback?

  • So do I get full 25% back less than GST (10%)?

For example - drink is $70.00, cashback is $15.91 (before GST).

    Can anyone confirm it?

    Thanks

  • +1

Looks like LL have upped their craft beer game.. and it coincides with some Flybuys deals i have available to activate.

    Mountain Culture - Cult IPA 4 pk $26 + 1,000 FB points
    Balter - Cryo Hazy 4 pk $27 + 1,100 FB points

There's a few more but I can definitely recommend these beers.

    • do not go anywhere near the cult ipa if you drink lagers, tasted like herbal brew to me. I tried it cos of ozb and had a rude shock

      • -1

Sorry, but based on that comment I have to neg you.

Mountain Culture are without a doubt, the top brewer in Australia right now and Cult IPA is probably the best core-range NEIPA you can find. Go back to your lagers.

      • I used mainly drink lagers but Mountain Culture beers basically converted me to NEIPAs.

If you're not a fan of the 'Cult IPA' and haven't given 'Status Quo' a try, I can see how it might appealing to a wider audience.

    • To be able to find Cult and Status Quo is so good. I've had to resort to ordering online from MC and being in Perth, it takes about 2 weeks to get an order in.

    • No stock of either in WA :(

  • Will this work with the $10 of $100 signup?

  • Thanks OP, got some whisky and beer!

    • Thanks OP, got 2 whiskies.. Look like I must collect my both items within 3 days after I ordered it. Otherwise it will return and your payment will be full refunded.

      • +1

If you call the Liquorland you're picking up from, they can hold for longer. Did that once when I forgot to collect my order during lockdown and wasn't due to go back to the shops for another week.

        • Already obtained.

  • Spent $108 but the CR tracking email only says I spent $40.92…

    • Please allow a few hours after purchase and you'll find the transaction will auto-update in your account. This is an issue with some stores when you purchase multiple SKUs in the one order. Trust me, you'll be fine. Just check your CR account and report back here :)

      • Thanks TA, number is now correct in my account.

For anyone that likes gin, Four Pillars Shiraz and Olive are on sale at $80, so with cashback comes down to $61.80. I think that’s a decent price. It’s been $63.37 in the past and you had to have eBay plus (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/651753).

  • Hey @tightarse,

    My cashback hasn't triggered yet?

Click history says I clicked into site.

I made a purchase but has not triggered.

    Cheers
    Jake
