Is There a "2 in 1 USB A + Type-C to USB C" Cable for Android Auto and Charging

Was searching for a "2 in 1 USB A + Type-C to USB C Cable for Android Auto and Charging" from the past hour without any luck! Can someone help?
I'm basically looking for this cable to use Android Auto and charge the Samsung mobile at full potential using a USB-C Cigarette Lighter Device.. Any other solutions apart from the wireless charging option (Cable Android Auto and Wireless Charge Mobile or Wireless Android Auto and charge Mobile)?
Luckily I found one for Apple iPhones (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/333683699754?hash=item4db119302a…) and I'm looking similar one for Android Phones.

Thanks.

  • Is the problem that your phone does not charge fast enough from the USB connector on your car radio?

Does your car radio support Wireless Android Auto?

    • Or a decent wireless charger maybe? (pending samsung version etc )

    • Sadly, no wireless Android Auto… I saw some converters but they only work with Android and wifey has an Apple Phone..
As shared above, we found an cable that has USB A+ USB-C to Lightening connector and looking something for Android Auto..

  • I think you shouldnt connect both USB A + Type-C at the same time.

Just get USB type C both end cable and a separate USB A to C adaptor.

    • I think that the OP wants to connect his phone to both his car radio AND a USB charger - data only from his phone to the car radio, and power only from the USB charger to the phone.

As you say, you can't have power coming from the car radio and from the USB charger into the one cable at the same time. I don't think the OP is going to be able to find a cable that will do what they seem to want. Any cable with three connectors is probably going to have the power connected to all of them, and that's a recipe for something to go "bang".

  • +1

I've had my eye on this power/data splitter but shipping to Australia is currently suspended.
I'm pretty sure that lightning cable you found doesn't do what you think it does.

    • Yeah, I found this little gadget on Reddit and looks like the only option for now..
I haven't yet tested the lightning cable.. Will let you know on Monday or Tuesday..

For now planning to use the iPhone and Android phone alternatively for Android Auto and Charging…

    • That's what OP Needs… Nothing else will be able to do what he wants.

  • I just came across a USB-A male to female adapter that blocks the power pin, made by an Australian company (who only seem to have a FB page and Tindie page at the moment). So, it you could find a three-ended cable like you were originally looking for, you could put this adapter between the radio and the cable.

    • Thanks mate… Will check it out..
