Unfortunately by coopers. It's never been the same since fosters did it a decade ago. A case of st editiene tastes more like previous effort, and at $33 is a great drink.
cans are often overseas so worth checking …last cans i had were brewed in UK ….
Do people still think macro lagers brewed in another country are better?

not sure if better is the right term ….different would be more the case … variation might be hardness of water and time between bottling and hitting the shelf … vs local under license versions …..victorian water isn’t recycled and it’s rain water or desal so no issues with hardness it’s soft water not recycled (drink recycled pee) or bore.
People still know*** that beers which became internationally exported due to their quality tend to be better than their cost-motivated copies in local or low-wage countries.

Despite what others say, I would guess that because it's Aldi, they may have the imported version. That would be consistent with their other stock (masses of cheap European imports). There's no reason for them to have large volumes of the local imitation. Why would they bother dealing with the makers of that? Here's hoping.
