A harmony of chewy and waxy noodles

That doesn't sound very appetising to me, but for $1 im willing to take a gamble

      Stick with Maggi (my fav).

      • +1

Maggi noodles are literally a joke Asians use to describe something bland—a caricature of what it could be, e.g. "FANT4STIC was the Maggi noodles of superhero movies".
Also they're a Nestle brand so nah don't stick with them.

        • It's what I grew up with since childhood.

          • +1

@Mondorock: Maggi is okay when you're a child.
At least try Indomie Mi Goreng :)

@Mondorock: Maggi then is much different then now.

Their noodle is more waxy and chewy then. Now it’s just like chalk.

I remember their chicken noodle soup used to taste like chicken twisties. Now it is so plain I cannot even taste any chicken flavour in it

Considering the Ottogi Jin Ramen Mild Noodle 5 Packets costs $5.93 normally, this is not a good deal.

And the nice thing about a stove top korean ramen is you can put egg and cheese with it

      • You can do the same with cup noodles, as long as it is microwave-safe. But I agree, I prefer stovetop because I like to add seafood or tofu, mushroom and other vegetables.

    • Jin Mild cup noodle version and stove top versions are quite different IMO.

      Neither are very good…

Jin Spicy is where it is at!

  • Immediate hit at coles sold me

Oh yum, wax noodles and bone stock

    • +2

Bone stock is a popular broth in Asia due to the great taste and collagen it provides

      • +2

        its popular everywhere

dunno where people think broth or chicken stock comes from

ox tall soup uses ox's tail… how gross

You seem more like a Maggis 2 minutes noodles man.

      • -1

Uh no not even close lol. I just think these noodles don't exactly sound appetising.

Bought from Coles $2 for 2, not much noodle inside, nissin cup noodles is better.
