Received an email saying this game is on sale. Looks like it's one to grab if you have a VR headset. I'm about to get it myself after purchasing a Quest 2
Reviews are Very Positive, seems like a pretty good promotion!

Ah good to know, I wasn't sure what the difference was between the two and thought the Beta version may have been barebones like a demo.
Seemed to have everything except the ability to mod and the usual PCVR perks (better graphics, mod support). The game itself is really cool, has a very immersive CSGO feel to it.
I haven't fired up the Quest beta in ages - did they add scopes to the weapons? For $7 It's definitely worth getting the PC version if you are going to run it from Steam.
I haven't played the steam version but I hear the community is a lot more active on pc than on quest. The app lab version used to have issues with showing the correct latency so I could never find a decent server. I'm probably going to grab the steam version and see how it goes at this price.
It's getting updated regularly. I'm never sure if I can see all the servers but still get a game in every time I play. On it all the time!
If you play PCVR, it is definitely worth getting it for $7. I got it on a recent sale for a bit more for that reason. Admittedly, I'm yet to try it haha, but it seems like its one of the better games with incredible value with all the mods. COD zombies and other classic games/maps.
PCVR has, better graphics, higher resolution, higher refresh rate. Also has custom maps and zombie mode etc. Someone even modded a full Halo ODST COD zombie map with all weapons and rounds
I got it when it first came out on steam and I had the worst motion sickness haha
Yep same, something about panic running backwards made me lose it.
Plus hopefully now there’s more players? When I got in there wasn’t any Australian servers I could connect to and the ones I could connect to definitely were not noob friendly :(
Absolutely LOVED this game a couple years ago, can only imagine how far it's come now.
Save yourself the $7 and download the standalone off the App Lab titled "Pavlov Shack Beta". Couldn't figure out the differences when I downloaded it a year ago, still had multiplayer and the works.
EDIT: Worth mentioning if mods are of interest (original cod maps for example), would be worth the $7.
