  my only experience with Zavvi- took over two months to receive my order- although Zavvi claimed it would be ten days

  buy only if prepared to wait a really long time

    Same experience here and they also wouldn't allow me to cancel the order long before it had been shipped. Website masquerades as Australian but is overseas. Will never buy from them again.

      I did know that they were UK based, so knew it would take a bit of time
      but claiming it will take 10 days- that is what I have an issue with, and agree with you, that if they do tell the truth, they will possibly lose Australian business
      that is where they are misleading

      don't know where I read it, but if you order two sets, the chances of it being better packed and therefore less damaged turned out to be true in my case

      keep reading that not only does it take a while, but also many people receive damaged boxes- which is ok if you are planning to build, but not ok if you want to resell

        I raised this with Zavi, having spent over $3,000 AUD in a month on their products within two days of purchasing.

        None were delivered in great "undamaged" condition. But ultimately I understand now that TNT, Australia Post and TOLL are the arse holes that fail to understand the world wants to get high value goods delivered.

        LEGO, Zavvi and many other organisations must adopt a business model like Amazon's or they will end up refunding products instead.

  The guys that bought it first round had a bargain if Lego didn't keep producing it . Like it went to $249 .
  Now its plunging with no one but LEGO knowing how many more they will produce.
  Typical Lego sell as many as they can and flood the market .

    People leaving reviews are the ones that encountered problems. I've ordered multiple Lego sets from there and they've arrived fine. Always boxed and with alright inner packaging like those air pockets.
