These are the headphones I use for work. Paid about $49 for them. Not bad, but damn they creak a lot. I feel like they're about to snap in half if I ever take them off aggressively after a rage inducing Teams meeting. I'm honestly impressed they're not already broken yet because I've had it for about a year now.

The build quality seems to be a major issue with this headset. It may be cheap, but this will most likely die on you within a year from the looks of it.

$29 product has 2 years warranty which is great. You'll probably need to action that warranty long before then and the warranty team isn't great…
Im after preferably a wireless headset for my nephew to play Nintendo switch on the tv as to allow him to sit back a bit further away from it. Is the barracuda X wireless any good for about 114 on Amazon or similar average quality to this headset?

I would normally say don't spend 114 bucks on a headset for a kid, but in this case it's your nephew and the assumption is that you don't want to come across too cheap. If he's not gaminging online and so doesn't need a great Mic just give him any old pair of Bluetooth headphone, there were some sol republic ones going cheap recently that might still be available.
He talks to his friend via his games like overwatch though. So mic is important.

JBhifi is always saying its below their cost price. Its ridiculous. The moment officeworks or harvey norman offers it, they suddenly become really friendly and keen to price match it
have you tried their over the phone sales team? they seem more receptive to price matching compared to the in-store staff
