Experiences with Buying Steam Games from CDKeys or ENEBA?

Hi all,

Was just interested in people's experiences with buying Steam games off CDKeys and Eneba. OzBargainers here had issues with Eneba, but then some other OzBargainers here said that they had bought from Eneba with no issues at all.

Anyone bought from both? If so, any problems with either? Many thanks.

Bought plenty of Steam/UPlay/EA/whatever games from CDKeys with no problems.

  • Bought from both just fine over 5 times now, use paypal if you can for easy chargebacks

    • PayPal doesn't cover software or game codes..

      • I personally have been able to just chargeback my two issues with different stores before.

  • Bought quite a few from cdkeys no problems. Use paypal.

  • I got hotshot racing on eneba and the key was already used. Launched a claim, and took a while to process but eventually they replaced the key with a working one.

  • Bought from CDKeys a lot. Don't feel that good about it but it works and I've never had an issue with them.

  • I exclusively buy cd keys from those types of sites, since maybe 2014? Cdkeyhouse is where I started, tried GMG and Kinguin, now I find the best offers at Instant Gaming . There is literally no reason for me to buy it directly from steam unless its on sales. Have had no issues

  • Never had issues

  • I’ve bought steam keys from a similar site called instant gaming with no issues

In 95% of cases, you will be fine, but things can go wrong. I had once an issue with a GuildWars 2 key that I bought from a site like this. NCSoft disabled my account a few months later saying the key I used was bought with a stolen credit card.

Also, once I had a key from G2A that didn't work, but I managed get a chargeback through PayPal.

    • Damn. Ok. I ended up buying 4 game keys off Eneba, went through just fine. Activated the game keys with no issues at all. Was wary at first though, wasn't sure how reliable they'd be but at least for this case it was fine.

  • Just bought a key for an older game on origin from Eneba for a nephew today and worked instantly. Have bought from many key sites before never had an issue.
