GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 XT EAGLE 8GB Video Card $699 Delivered/ MEL C&C @ BPC Tech

130

Seems like a good deal on a 6600xt. For around $699 I think it's a solid deal.

A little closer to MSRP. Keep the price dropping please.

As long as cards aren't going into crypto, the GPU price slide will continue!

For all the naysayers last time "ahh it's not crypto!". Prices are coming down and it just happens to correspond with the eth hash rate going flat! (I know, I know. Correlation is not causation…)

  • Almost back to launch day pricing. Hopefully it keeps going down from here

Needs to be ~$620 to be on-par for price performance value of RX 6600 non-XT ($539, https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/rx6600-cld-8g-asrock-amd-…) . Be aware that you're paying ~30% more for 15% more performance.

    • yep, and with 3060 dropping to the sub 700 mark this is a hard card to recommend over. You trade dlss, rt and nvnec just to get low single digits of fps increase.

Obviously shops start to offload their stocks, let's hodl for few weeks and wait for more drops

  • With Mad Vlad stomping about Ukraine at the moment we have yet another ingredient to add to the GPU pricing stew. Another European war will have a dampening effect on consumer spending globally, with the potential for further falls in GPU prices.

  • I can't even keep up with what gpus are good now. I know they brought out the cheap clanger gpus. Can't remember the name. What is this the equivalent of in the nvidia range?

      This sits somewhere between a 3060 and a 3060ti.

The 6500xt is the clanger one and yes, definitely best avoided!

  • is this good for 1440 gaming? especially for game like COD Warzone, Apex, Halo?

    • 1440P with AMD equilv of DLSS OFF and I was getting over a solid 60fps & with DLSS ON was 70-80

I have only a modest steam lib and nothing you would call the latest but I was pretty pleased with the 6600 and wish now Id paid the difference for the XT (about 15% faster but a $150 premium… 6600 now mid $550's and 6600XT now about $700
