230

My 5yo JamesDonkey TKL is having some issues so doing some mechanical keyboard research this evening, and found Mwave is doing a sale for some Keychron models. Someone posted a K8 offer a few days ago but there are many others.

Wired Keyboard

Wired/Wireless Keyboard

$5.99 flat rate shipping nationwide. 1%/2% surcharge applies for select payment methods.

Gateron switches basically imitates Cherry MX, so

  • Red - linear quiet
  • Brown - tactile / relatively quiet
  • Blue - clicky

Note that the on-sale models above do not have hot-swappable switches. Check recent deal at EZPC eBay for some hot-swappable Keychron's.

    Don't forget 0.7% Cashrewards/Shopback.

  • K2 here is version one with the older Bluetooth technology. Incline is also steeper than v2

um i just got one and it has two feet, so no, even though mwave doesnt say it, you get a v2.

Waiting for the q5 to launch. I need a keyboard with a numpad. Would have gone with the drop shift but they don't produce the high profile model which is what I am after.

not to mention the Drop Shift is absolutely horrendous quality for the price.

      • As is tradition

Got the C2 from the other deal, looks like I'll be returning and getting from this deal and saving $15!

  • If they came out with a low profile k4 layout id be all over it

    • not the same layout as the K4, but it's worth checking out Nuphy. They ship from China but they're low profile and wireless :)

      • I wish Nuphy made a full size. They look noice.

    • Check out the K5 if you haven't already. I know its not the 96% like the K4 but the K5 is probably the closest in low-profile.
I've been waiting for them to release it since November last year but it's been delayed a fair bit

  • Are these any good?

i've currently got a Ducky One 2, but am looking for a wireless one.

Would these good be a good change?

    • I own both - Keychron build quality is slightly below Ducky imo. Ducky has better keycaps and a more tamper-proof build. The wireless can be a big benefit though, and I know a few people that have one and love it.

  • Hi lads looking for a new gaming keyboard any recommendations on any of these!? Ps I like rgb

    • K8 if you use the F-keys in games,
      K6 if you don't.
