  • Formulaic and half-baked

I flicked through and put it down pretty fast — It seems to be yet another a self-help lifestyle book which loosely aligns its values to a well known term in a desperate `reach and preach' attempt at finding resonance with a probably already converted audience.

Are these guys the next tony robbins bullshit machine or some kind of legitimate methodology masters? I couldn't care enough to find out for myself

I'm not advocating judging this book by it's cover: but the jacket design itself could do with a minimalist treatment itself. what's with all the font sizes and vanity watermarked photo?

I appreciate the free advice but I dont value this attempt. Sorry folks, your first impression lacks authenticity.

Sounds like words of experience there. I value honesty above all else and whatever 'we' do we do first for ourselves.

Real minimalism won't be found in a book of essays, and it's not about 'things'. It's the practise of 'being' but that's as far as I go here.

Don't believe anyone and you'll have your own truth. It's a pathless land.

Anyone hear those words before? :)

But you have to get there by the path you take and it could include a free book on minimalism.

I'm not comfortable with ask to 'Spread' the word though.

That puts a price on free.
