OzBargain Regulars from outside Australia?

So, I'm no longer in Australia but I feel the need to keep coming back here. Anyone else in this silly little club? I even removed all the shortcuts but that's not a real solution because I usually just hit "o" on the url bar. It might be that I miss Australia during my quarantine but I do love reading the forums sometimes.

Hopefully this is just a phase!

Awesome! Yeah Lake Biwako is definitely an underrated part of Japan!

Visited/taught some students at Biwako Seikei Sport College. Need to start your own OzBargain in Japan!

        • Yeah Biwako is lovely. I flew some drones there couple years ago before covid. Always love the mountains + water combo, especially in Autumn.

@raptormesh: If you're free, check out Kyoto area. Helps ease the stress from the Tokyo big city

  • Is it hard to be a vegetarian in Japan?

    • +1

Not at all, vegan is more difficult however. Recently there's been a bloom of organic vegetarian cafes in some areas of Tokyo and Kyoto.

However be aware that most of the food from convenient stores aren't strictly vegetarian, e.g. processed using the same facilities as meat dishes.
