  Merlot heavy blend can work, though a straight merlot is usually not great IMO.

  P.S. We have 1 each of merlot, pinot noir and muscat vines at home, the merlot grapes taste nice.

    3.6 is probably fair to average isn't it?
    Anything over 3.8-4.0 is very good usually.
