[PC] Game Bundle for Ukraine (Includes Superhot, Celeste, Figment) 991 Items for US$10 (~A$13.62) @ Itch.io

2960

Buy 991 items for $10 Regularly ~$6,534 Save 99%!

The people of Ukraine are under attack. As game developers we want to create new worlds, not to destroy the one we have. That's why we've banded together to present this charity bundle to help Ukrainians survive this ordeal and thrive after the war ends. This cause has resonated with creators around the globe, to the extent that our bundle contains almost 1,000 games, tabletop RPGs, books, etc.

So who does this support? Our first charity, the International Medical Corps, provides medical assistance in the region. They have very low fundraising overhead (1% of income), with 89% of donations going to medical aid and 10% to administration.

The second charity is Voices of Children.
This is a Ukrainian organization that helps children cope with the horrors of war, PTSD, readjusting to school, and getting back to being kids. They have also been doing a lot of grassroots impromptu work during the war, such as helping set up shelters. Our hope is that this war will be over soon, and they can begin the work of healing these kids' hearts.

Of these nearly 1,000 products, more than 600 have never been in a major bundle before. Several prominent developers and publishers signed up to itch.io specifically to be in this bundle. And there's something for everyone - we have almost 600 digital video games, over 300 analog tabletop RPGs, and dozens of asset packs, books, zines, and comics, soundtracks/music, and a host of other products. Also unique to this bundle, we only allowed paid products.

We kept the minimum low, but we highly urge you to pay above the minimum if you can afford to do so. All money goes directly to the charities, split 50/50.

We stand with Ukrainians, and with all people around the world who despise war.

Thank you.

Maybe Ozbargain can do some paid addon which donates all proceeds to charity for 100 extra downvotes! I'd be up for that.

    • +3

I agree. Shocking how many idiots this conflict has revealed.

  • +7

Celeste is such a good game worth it for that one alone.

    • +6

Super Hot, Celeste and Baba is You is a steal for $10 USD
Skatebirds look kind of fun too
      Not sure about everything else

  • +15

Finally, Thirsty Sword Lesbians. What a game.

    • +5

I was like…. surely not… but nope its a thing!

Edit: dont miss out on "The Fabulous Gays, Volume 1"

  • +2

Awesome, got it just for Baba is You which had a historic low of $15

  • My experience has not been good with Itch.io … no reflection on this Ukranian cause or other similar previous postings. On my previous experience I kept getting notification emails whenever any of the hundreds of items were updated, and the Unsubscribe link would never work. So I will pass on this, and just making others aware of my experience with itch.io

  • Does anyone know if these get added to your account and you can play/download whenever you want (own it outright) or will these accounts (and/or website) close down at some future date?

    • +10

All DRM free so you can download them and play them any time on any device. Itch.io is 9 years old and i don't think it will close down any time soon.

      • How come USD$5 vs $10 here ?

        Inflation ?

        • +6

Bundles on Itch.io are community organised and the bundle host is free to set the price as they see fit.

Itch.io only acts as a platform to deliver the bundles. They have no involvement setting the prices or what's included in the bundles.

    • +8

      Not a competition.

  • is there a way to 'claim' all the games and other stuff all at once? seems really tedious and time consuming to install/claim each single item, even if you just want to play like 20 games.

also, what's with half the comments here?

    • +4

do some googling - I remember for another similarly large bundle from Itch.io I found a script which added all titles to my itchi.io account and then had the option to download each one as well. Itch is great for developers and early prototypes but not great for the end user experience if you have a large collection of items on there.

the comments are disgusting and I'm amazed we have such an element within Australia.

this script works.. just claiming all my games now.. pity it only does a page at a time (30 items), but 30 less clicks per page. Needs tampermonkey or similar installed in browser.

      • Works perfectly. Thanks

  • +6

Found this site that lets you filter through the bundle with better faceting etc.

  • +6

Yaaas. We gonna get Ozbargain banned in Russia too!

  • how are people getting the $13.62 price? do you need to pay using a specific card or something? i paid using paypal and got a higher price, which is fine but was a bit confusing.

    • +1

I paid with paypal but changed it to USD before confirming, ended up coming to $13.67 with citibank.

    • +1

You need to use a card (e.g. 28 Degrees) which doesn't charge you any additional currency exchange fees. And within PayPal, you need to set it to use the foreign currency, in this case USD. If you let PayPal do the currency conversion themselves, they'll shaft you big time.

  • wow quite the bundle, is stalker there?

    • no, because the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series aren't on itch.io - they are on other digital storefronts like Epic, GOG and steam.

  • +1

Still painstakingly going through and 'claiming' them to my account (hopefully someone comes out with a script like last time..) and there's loads here from my wishlist :D

    Good bundle, good cause 🙂

  • +4

Thanks OP. Purchased it but I suspect I'll never get around to playing any of them - although maybe I will after I've finished all the Udemy courses I've enrolled in. ;-)

  • +1

Which games are you all playing?

    • Celeste is my top on the list personally. But I've already played it on Xbox and Switch, will likely try Quadrilateral Cowboy, heard great things.

    • Bought it to play A Short Hike and Baba is You.

  • +9

Did you buy a bundle at itch.io with a shitload of games?
Do you want them all in your library?
Are you a lazy bum and don't want to add them all manually?

  • Thanks!

    @MattyD
"That is a specious comparison at best.
The abhorrent actions of one small fascist right group within a sovereign nation does not justify armed invasion and mass genocide."

Hitler's party was small fascist right group. But more than half Europe's country became his allies. Other half didn't resist his invasion in their land. Other sent their soldiers to invade in countries, that really stay resist Nazism. Poland's peoples killed more Jewish own citizens, than germany's SS. Same did committed "little europenians" such Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania. Every year their former fascists making honour nazi marches.
Anty-Hitler coalition finally killed millions germany and their allies soldiers and innocent civilian people to stopping that "small fascists right group". Ukrainian "small fascist right group" killed more than 10000 Ukrainian peoples, including more than 400 children.
There could not be more dangerous than to not see any fascists activity's as real threat.
Everyone, who pretended that its not exist or not deserve to be concerned, just shows his support for Nazism.
Short memory produce further deaths of innocent people

    • +4

You seem to know a lot about Nazis so you must be aware of the neo-nazi mercs that Putin employs in all his warzones, the Wagner Group? They are accused of war crimes in most theatres of operation that they've been active in. You speak on Poland, so I'm sure you are aware of the Katyn massacre.

      • Yes I do. This is politically driven antyhumanitarian support to any criminals, which helps western civilisation keep control over world. People's life is no matter for them, at all. Yours and yours families future is nothing and can be freely spending to achieving that result. Europenians, as well as other world leaders can easily
recruit scoundrels, who will do for them any dirty bloody job. For Putin, as well as for Biden and all Europeans leaders Ukrainians, as well Russian or any other nationality peoples is just spendings material.
Did you seen as Australian police handled innocent civilian during "pandemics"? This is exact fascists.
During pandemic Putin's, Biden's, Macron's, Morrison's and others leaders ratings became catastrophically low. Ukraine's conflict perfectly raised it for them by creating national enemies for us. People is badly naive. We all swallowed it.
Ukrainians "small fascist right group" is a precious tools for politicians. Who care now about what they did with our economy, about corruption, that all kind of perverts occupied our schools and assault our children's for being them boys, for white skin?
        Good achievement.

I remember that there were 2 negs on this deal an hour or so ago. Who removed those or Power Users are biased here ? @scotty @neil

    • +9

      When negative votes are revoked:

      • The community casts a number of negative comment votes to any comment by the user casting the deal votes.

The comments in question are currently sitting on -65 and -20.

Negs have been revoked as per the voting guidelines.

    • And to further expand on what HomeAlone, power users do not have the ability to revoke votes.

Questions are fine and are welcome. However, making accusations of power users who are volunteers who dedicate their time to clean up deal titles is just obnoxious and rude. Let's try to act respectfully in these difficult times.

      • +9

👍👍👍 Makes sense, i take my words back against Power Users. I had no idea that system revokes negs based on what @HomeAlone explained.

        • Much appreciated. 💪🍟

In the middle of war, do people really believe that people in Ukraine care about game bundles? Sign up to fight with Ukraine army if you really care about Ukrainian people. Virtue signalling is rampant

    • +10

Yes it's really that simple. Sign up for a war on the other side of the world. Nevermind all your commitments you have - you'd sign up if you really cared

      /s

    • +9

Can you not read? It's about the proceeds of the bundle being given to a medical and children's charity in Ukraine.

      • +6

not reading seems to be rampart amongst a roughly 10% portion of the general public, who also disbelieve reproducible facts and tend to do what they want, when they want.. because they won't listen to or respect anyone else's opinions or in some cases.. laws. Because it doesn't suit them.

      • -2

        Did I push your buttons?

  • +1

Dunno how they are on PC but I had a lot of fun with Jotun and Sky Rogue on the Switch.

  • Is there an itch.io launcher that makes installing and uninstalling easy?

    • +2

Yes but buying the bundle doesn't automatically add them. You gotta claim them first. This which someone else commented earlier seems to make adding them to your library much quicker https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/427686-itch-io-bundle-to-l…

Personally I just bookmark the bundle page and then come back and download games when I want to try them.

      • +1

yeah add them to your account using the script, then use the itch.io app to download - I find it a little easier than hunting for games in my itch.io downloads pages.

  • -2

I wish there is a game for the Fall of Ukraine by a comedian

  • Awesome stuff! Although it's weird the bundle can't seem to be found on the main itch io page or even in the bundle section or blog section. Maybe it's just me?

  • -4

Does this go to supporting the Ukranian neo-nazi groups that the media conveniently keeps forgetting about?

    • +1

Assume for a minute you are right about the neo nazi groups, does that justify a war and civilian deaths?

Two wrongs do not make a right in any sense.

What you should be saying is that Russian civilians are now having to live through eroding values in their wealth, based on what their ruler is wanting. Same with Poland now having to deal with many thousands of refugees from Ukraine.

Have some compassion and be a human for once.

      • -2

No, but it does mean there are no good sides to this war.

Don't assume that I agree with any of this.

If you are for Ukraine you are just as brainwashed as someone for Russia.

(and I am right about the neo-nazis)

        • By that token, there are neo nazis in Australia too.

      • -4

        sorry for repeating.
Hitler's party was small fascist right group. But more than half Europe's country became his allies. Other half didn't resist his invasion in their land. • +1

Why do you keep copy pasting the same thing? The world knows of the brutal losses Russia and other Soviet countries incurred at the hands of the Nazis during WWII. Russians will never forget this and nor should they as it was pure evil. What is also evil is using that Russian dread of Nazism and concocting a story of Nazi takeover of Ukraine to scare the Russian people and justify the destruction of Ukraine.

For God's sake, the Ukrainian president is a Jew! The false assertions of Nazism are purely design to play to ordinary Russian people and their memories of the sacrifices of their families to defeat the Nazis.

How would you describe Russia's political system? Surely that is more akin to Nazism with the rise of a leader using nationalism and increasing the size of the Russian nation slowly and systematically with Georgia, Crimea and now Ukraine.

          • -3

@Punkboy: Do you really think that Putin is vs Baiden or Europe? This theatre show is for naive people. Biden and democrats destroying USA, Putin and his oligarchs destroying Russia and now Ukraine. Both this nations is hostages in big bloody game. And neo-Nazis with terrorists is perfect tools to fireup world.
People are killings each other. Putin, Biden, Macron and other's European puppets, making themselves a hero for naive people in their countries. Putin traitor, he betrayed his country, so doing did others world "leader's".
They do anything to stay in power, including to creating bloody conflicts.
Only blind or brainwashed people do not see it.

    • +2

It goes to children and those needing medical aid. If you read the deal you would've found the answer involved nothing to do with your question.

  • -6

The people of Ukraine are under attack…

… by their own armed forces.

    • -1

By the BS their President says . Reputable news agency's don't believe his crap anymore and have to verify/fact check everything he says .

    • +2

Your comment is obscene. Russian forces are clearly attacking Ukraine. Putin himself said so.

      • -1

[Sigh] Of course Russia is attacking parts of/certain people in, the Ukraine… otherwise they, you know, wouldn't be in the Ukraine!? Lol. Doesn't in any way disprove what I said though.

Or are you content to ignore videos by Ukrainian citizens, testifying they watched as their own "forces" shelled Mr & Mrs Average residential areas long before Russian troops even come close, in order to feed a false narrative by blaming Russia for it. Have you even looked? Of course not. You stopped at douchetube, farsebook, Seven, Nein, tweets by twits like clueless game coders, vapid celebrities, and suit 'n tie newsreaders all shoveling the same cow pats over from the same couple of subscription newsfeeds.

But no… unless it's from "mainstream" "sources" who deliberately and consistently censor evidence contradicting their narrative, it didn't happen, just ignore and discount their suffering, right?

For goodness sake break free of the brainwashing. Take a look on non-traditional social media for one… listen to real Ukrainians (ones who obviously have a low living standard and therefore are not government or media shills). Stop ignoring the ONLY places people you're supposedly so incensed about the Russians attacking, can get their truth out to the rest of the world.

        • OMG I don't know why I am falling for this and buying in to your argument, especially the uncomplimentary and sanctimonious way in which you are enlightened but I am clearly not despite the fact that you know nothing about me.

What will Ukraine gain from shelling it's own people and blaming Russia? Some sympathy from western countries and a few more anti tank and anti aircraft weapons? Some money that will barely scratch the surface of rebuilding and might be just be enough to feed people? None of this is enough to repel the might of the Russian invaders over the long term. Ukraine is looking at a bleak future and a country reduced to rubble.

You should be ashamed to spread Russian disinformation, Russia has specialist teams whose job it is to corrupt the openness of the democratic system and doesn't need your help….

          • @Punkboy: Yep, Russian disinformation… directly from the Ukrainian people… lol.

Funny how the same people who race to blame Russian bias/propaganda, reel in horror at the suggestion our government and media might be exactly the same.

  • Summer in mara looks good. might try it on pc.

subscribed for comments about game recommendation. Not quite the case…

    • Highly recommend A Short Hike if you haven't tried. Easily my top 5 games of all time

      • That's included!? Nice, been meaning to try that out

    • Just finished A Short Hike. Can confirm it's pretty fun. Probably not my top 5 of all time but very enjoyable.

      • Thank U mate

  • Seems good value.
Want: Towerfall Ascenion, A Dance of Fire and Ice, Hyperspace Dogfights
    Have: Celeste, Superhot

  • +1

Happy to have made a purchase/donation on this, when I read that the Bundle for Ukraine's designated charities included Voices of Children - a few days ago, on a couple of recent Humble Bundles, I was not able to use the 'Change' charity button and their search engine in order to find/select Voices of Children

And although I had already previously purchased/donated towards previous mega-bundles on itch.io, e.g. Racial Justice and Equality bundle, World Land Trust Bundle, which had netted me quite a few games that happen to have also been included in this Bundle for Ukraine (e.g. Celeste, A Short Hike, Super Hexagon, Hidden Folks, Minit, Long Gone Days, Cook, Serve Delicious! 2!!, Quardrilateral Cowboy, Alt-Frequencies, Baba Is You, Batbarian: Testament of the Primordials, Moon Hunters, etc.) …

… there are still quite a few highly-rated/interesting games that had never before been included in any of the previous mega-bundles (Attentat 1942, Backbone, Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered, Chronology, Cloud Gardens, CrossCode, Curious Expedition, Delver, Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive, Eldritch, Figment, GoNNER, inbento, INMOST, Kingdom Two Crowns, Night Call, Pipe Push Paradise, Rusty Lake Hotel, SkateBIRD, Sophie's Safecracking Simulator, Summer in Mara, SUPERHOT, Tenderfoot Tactics, Wandersong, Welcome to Elk)

… so that's just a nice bonus overall I reckon.

    • Thanks for the list of games to check out!

  • +1
